Really disappointed from doteasy services, My domain was shalimarfood.ca registered with dosteasy, My client don't want to renew the domain, i turned off auto renew, Then i email email received "Auto-renew is disabled and this will expire unless manually renewed by you." I ignore that email, because i don't want to renew the domain, The suddenly coercively they charged from my account, and renew the domain, I contact support regarding their blunder, they said they will never give me refund, Very disappointing from doteasy Regards Umair
Not happy that people who pay for a domain and the 30 days later come back do not get the same savings on hosting as new registers do... we actually paid for the domain name and new sign ups get a FREE domain name plus a HUGE savings on hosting... not good customer service practice for those of us who have been with you. I did go ahead and get a new domain name to receive the hosting discount seeing this was to only be for email accounts anyway.
Well...I was pretty sure the limit on the transfer page said 5 only for the $5 transfers. I was interrupted and had to come back later and discovered that I had to re-enter everything, so I put my 3 domains back and for some reason one didn't qualify for the $5 price and the coupon was removed. It didn't seem right to me: If the limit is 5, why only 2 for me? Unless my having to redo the whole order made a difference somehow?
Given the number of years I've been a Doteasy customer, the number of domains I've registered and websites hosted, and the number of people to whom I've recommended them, I found the refusal to refund a single renewal made in error with a pat 'policy' excuse to be cheap and petty.

I had some confusion about my cc info that I entered and then later said I didn't have it entered. I ended up entering it twice... not sure why. It had something to do with the whole "master account" thing.

We give our credit card details in order to place the order and start working with the server and domains. However we do not receive any email confirmation with the server and domain tech details, in order to start working.
The web forms are flakey and frustrating to work with on Safari on OS X 10.12. The drop downs take a long time to populate

attempted to create a master account but it didn't work. spoke to tech support and creating a master account didn't work with their help either. had to check out as a guest.
The GUI should be able to determine the card type based on the number alone. Almost bailed due to the default being the wrong card type.

Could not register this domain under my master because your form would not accept (the very same) credit card I entered for this transaction. Chat was not available so I checked out as guest and had no issues with the credit card.
It was difficult changing the order just before payment. It would be good if there were an edit button to make revisions. Instead, I had to go through the process from scratch. Live chat was closed during this time.
The signup process could be simplified to save time and also the payment details page didn't feel safe. It's different from other domain registration sites where after payment, the order is confirmed, but here it is not.

Due to having to sign in twice and not remembering which login to use (and way too many options to choose but all of them were very old) when re-signing in to the credit card page created a lot of challenges. I was already in the member zone and it was frustrating to have to sign in again And the website was more expensive that I was lead to believe it would be by the monthly rate. Add the outrageous rate of exchange between the Canadian and the US dollar. I wish I knew more because it seems a lot more expensive than what I pay for MysteryFactory which is also hosted by you guys. Why am I paying more for this new site?
