This app is great and easy to use however if your food is t listed on their mwnu you have to google all the calories for what you ate. I was disappointed in this. So there have been times I skip meal adds unless I am not sure of the calories. I typically make more mental notes to keep myself in check.
I wish they had a counter that searched or scanned items to make it easier to track calories.
The IF concept is great. Easy to understand and follow. The app however is lacking in regard to calorie tracking. The menu site is lame. Other weight loss sites have much more sophisticated ways to enter calories consumed. My 3 month membership resulted in only 5 lb weight loss, but overall I feel much healthier and will continue to IF on my own and track calories and exercise on a different app.

So far the app has been such a great asset and help. Excited to see results down 5lbs in the first week. Sign up was very challenging but after a while got it done. Also, not able to sync my phone I have a Samsung watch. But overall very happy with app and support.
The app has been glitching; not accurately tracking your history. Also, there is no functionality to adjust your fasting history when it's incorrect. I do not like how you can only record steps with only 2 brands/ devices. If they are not going to allow users the ability to sync to other brands, then there should at least be a way to manually enter your steps. Also, the food tracker is not great. A user should be able to manually enter foods they eat for the day, not only recipes. Most of these features are found in free or less expensive applications.

The water app is slow in response. When you try delete the amount entered because it duplicates it wouldn't. It won't delete only allows to edit.
Wish you could adjust the suggested calories per meal. I don't eat 3 meals and 1 snack and hate seeing it say I over eat but within my daily calories.
Can't adjust nutrition or fasting from previous day. So if you forget you have to manually readjust your fasting hours.

I have logged my starting and stopping fasting times and it gives me a message that I have fasted longer then normal. When in fact I had stopped my fast to start my eating window. This has happened a couple times. Also I do not log my calories because it is to difficult. I have to google each item and search for calories then go and add to app, I'm not going to do that. There needs to be a broader selection of items to pick from on the actual app.

Website says one thing but customer service tells you something different. Auto charge for stuff I canceled a year ago. Finally got a 50% refund but that's BS.
Read yhe fine print. Different policy for everything they offer. Nothing in the customer favor.

All is good…the one disappointment is logging food is difficult. I have to search other sites to try and figure out the caloric value of my food-too time consuming. Your site for logging food needs a lot more development
The first day I didn't start the fast in the app. No big deal right, nope. You can't go back to the night before. Then over the weekend I went out so I ate a little later. I thought no big deal I just won't eat until the afternoon. I tried to log my fast just after midnight. Can't go back an hour and a half because the date is different? Ridiculous.
It's probably a fine app but tracking it keeps me going. If you can't do these common sense things it sucks in my book. I'd honestly take my money back if I could.
First, the only way to get in contact with Do Fasting is through chat and their team is not that helpful. The app needs to be much more detailed to make it useful. When you search for food, most are not in their database. Other diet apps have very extensive database of prepared, branded foods. Others allow you to scan the package barcode in order to get the dietary info...not the case with DoFasting. It would be great to have experienced team members to chat with in order to ask questions. Adding any other liquid other than water is not doable. Custom food that is entered into the system is only linked to that specific category (breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner). As an example, if you have crackers for a snack, you would also have to enter it again under another category like lunch if it is part of your meal. Just doesn't make sense. My take is that everything is TOO general.

First timer with intermittent fasting as I need to lose tons of fat and weight. Without the help of this app, I definitely would've cheated on my fasting way way more than I currently have. It's been almost 4 weeks and I'm down 4lbs without doing any exercise. The app would be more perfect if the meal and food section had a wider more diverse database of food types, especially Asian cuisine.

I cannot speak as to how the app works, in that I chose to go another route for my weight loss. However, be aware that if you sign up, they will NOT give you a courtesy renewal notice and will NOT refund your money once you discover it and ask for it back. I check my accounts daily. When I saw the charge, I immediately requested a refund and they have totally ignored me.

Bought the app subscription a year ago. I only used it a handful of times and then forgot about it until today when the auto-renew kicked in. I immediately reached out to customer service. They offered to only refund 50% of the subscription. I assured them that the app has been inactive for 9 months and that I was not currently using it. That was the best they could do. Very displeased.

So far, so good. The most challenging thing to me is logging food. Not enough selections.
This is where the MyFitness apps shine. They don't provide the same service this app does. May have to track calories there and transfer by unit in lieu of the actual meal.

There are a few things that need to be added in there like the ability to determine how many ozs of water you drank. There are only 4 pre-sets in the app. I would like if it had more basic food choices.

I'm like the info you provide to us. I was increasing my walk from 3.5 to 6 miles daily thinking it would double it. But with this explanation it does makes more sense, I mean I am not stopping but I really believe that I don't need to double up on my walks.

Daily, I get alerts to start my fast or that I'm at risk of losing my streak, after I've started my fast on the app hours prior. My weight stayed the same one day instead of going down and I got articles and notifications that the scale was going up (it wasn't) and that I was doing something wrong. It's not very helpful when it's bugging you to do things you've already done.

I've been using the app for a few months now and I can say that the results are very apparent! I've lost over 20 pounds and I am not the only one to notice this. My sleep is a lot deeper now as well, and I feel a lot more energised throughout the day.

I already eat well, basically following a Mediterranean Dash Diet! Losing weight has slowed and my doctor suggested I follow an intermittent fasting diet. I checked into DoFasting and took the survey and it was suggested I follow a 14/10 plan. I am delighted with the results after starting in January 2023, I've lost 18 lbs. Consistency is important and I plan to lose another 15-20 lbs and then maintain.
