Discounttires

Ordered a set of tires for my truck through this site on the 3rd of November 2011, no email other than the original receipt. Called today the 7th to get tracking information on them and the first guy i talked to said that he would call me back. Never did. So i called about an hour after that and they said they refunded my money on the 4th of November, still havent seen the money yet, Really? I put my life on the line in the Military so people can scam me? I create that freedom for you to scam, come out and take a few bullets so people will stop shooting at me for a few seconds and then take the money you earn doing it and have it scammed away...

I was trying to save few bucks. I placed an order with a customer service rep over the phone on Tuesday. They charged my credit card immediately. The website says they had these tires on stock, and customer service rep told me the items will be shipped within 24-48 hours. I waited 7 DAYS! NO RESPONSE. I called them again. Was put on hold for 20 mins. Spoke with Chris. He said he would call me back within 1 hour. Chris never called. I called them again, Chris did not want to talk. Spoke with manager, Sarkis. He said "The tires we have in stock are OLD, with EXPIRED DOT CODE. We cannot sell them to individuals customers, only to wholesalers. The manufacturer (Bridgestone) is out of stock, and they backlog for these tires 45 DAYS. He was trying to find different excuses. They said they would refund my money. SCAM! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. WORST SERVICE EVER! THEY CLAIM TO HAVE ITEMS IN STOCK, WHICH IN FACT THEY DO NOT, AND HAVE OLD TIRES WITH EXPIRED DOT CODES. TAKES FOREVER TO SHIP THE PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS DO NOT KNOW WHAT TIRES ARE IN STOCK. CUSTOMER SERVICE REP TAKE THE ORDER, CHARGE THE CREDIT CARD AND ONLY 7 DAYS AFTER TELL "WE DO NOT HAVE THESE TIRES IN STOCK AND THE MANUFACTURER'S WAIT BACKLOG IS 45 DAYS". SCAM! STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

I was having problems finding my size tire especially in General Tire Brand came across discounttires.com and they had the tires and the price was right. So Sunday Sept 4th I placed my order, not expecting much to be done untill at least Tuesday. That day came and went and nothing no confirmation, no shipping nothing. I sent them an email that afternoon.No responce I called the 7th, The guy I spoke with said that the order was to be shipped today was on the dock. The next day online the order still said processing. I called again that afternoon and the guy said that the tires were on the dock, I said that was what I was told yesterday, He said he was sure they would go out today and I would get a tracking number later. I did receve a Fed Ex Tracking notification and an email saying that the order was being shipped at 3:35 pm then at 7:47 pm same day I receved another email saying my money would be refunded because Tires had old dot numbers, no tires on back order from General. Just receved the refund today 9/14/11 Very disappointed.
