We ordered barrels months ago as have many folks! No answers via email correspondence and no phone number listed that we can call. Money was taken out of our account! Turned over fraud report to authorities this morning. What scumbags and I hope they are caught!
Would give them negative stars, but that's not possible. Lots of quick emails until I paid, then... nothing. Luckily I was refunded over $600 by American Express when I disputed the charge for non-delivery. Avoid these cretins like the plague. Not even sure they have an office at the address they list. Credit card charge went to some place in NY.
Complete scam, I very rarely get fooled and I was completely bamboozled. They strung me along for two weeks including even giving me the name and contact for what was supposedly the trucking company, but obviously just one of them.
We were able to get all of our money back through Paypal because they did not respond when we disputed the claim with Paypal. No idea why Paypal has not shut their account down with them yet!
Finally paid around $150 CAD/barrel out of Calgary
I would give them "0" stars but this is not possible. We had a very quick conversations and response until I have paid for my shipment. Nothing arrived, they stooped responding to the emails. Don't get fouled. I have reported them to the law. See if that helps.
I bought a barrel two months ago. Never received it! Never got money returned! I contacted the sellers numerous times and got replies telling me about the driver being late, giving me his cell number, which doesn't work. When I threaten to report them I got no answer. I had to stop the payment from my credit card. Then I did research online and many people had the similar stories. No business phone available, no valid business addresses! The business address is different on the receipts and website addresses.It's absolute scam!
I ordered and paid for 4 53 gallon barrels for my daughters wedding. Invoice was received and paid the same day. I have not heard or received a response to any of my emails since. No information to call outside of the emails provided. Do not order from this location, they are a scam and as per the recommendation on the BBB Website i will be contacting the local district attorney. I can see from all the complaints that hundreds of people have been ripped off by this company. Someone needs to shut them down.
Same story as rest, ordered 9 to ship to Seattle in early October 2019 but they never arrived, they have no phone number that I could find, of which I was a bit suspicious of from the start, but being a dummy, I placed an order and paid with a credit card a month ago and no barrels and no response! Their address shows they are in Napa but my guess is that they don't even exist business wise. I called the Napa Chamber of Commerce and they have never heard of them nor are they a member. The addresses on Google Earth show two buildings but looks like no activity or barrels to be found. They also operate under the scam business of oakwoodbarrels.com too! FAKE!
Scammed with the purchase of a container full of barrels. I have been working for 5 years to open a small distillery. It hurts so much this can of situation. I lost $3972. 50. Now I need to find funds again to get real barrels.
Wanted to buy barrels for my wedding on the 22nd and unfortunately talked to these people. I was so excited I told everyone and got more people that wanted them and of course ordered more. Nothing showed up and have been getting the run around. Called bank to report and gonna see if I can get law involved. Wedding money down the drain and no decoration like I thought I'd have.
Complete scam. Ordered and paid for 3 barrels for 174.75. No barrels ever arrived. Was strung along for a couple of weeks then the emails just stopped. Contacting the local DA today. Will contact Paypal for a refund today also.
I ordered barrels from them and they never came. It's been over two months. When I informed them that I never received the barrels they would state they would check with the driver. I tried this multiple times. Then they would never get back to me. They did however refund my money, but that took some time. They also told me I'd still receive the barrels. Guess what they never showed!
Like everyone else. These guys are crooks. DO NOT BUY. I should have known when they were unresponsive but I was looking for barrels. Then after I sent the money... nothing.
Total con business. They just rob you, then change locations. Check out the Better Business Bureau website if you want confirmation. So many of the same complaints! Class action suit, anyone?
Ordered barrel never showed up no response to several emails also like other reports price was to good to be true glade I only lost 70.00 would never recommend this company
I read the reviews online after reaching out to them for a quote. The cost on the quote was literally too good to be true so I figured I needed to do some sleuthing. After reading several of the reviews on this site (and there is an Alert on the BBB website as well), I figured I would call them out via email for their bad reputation and that they are actually a scam. Figuring that a really bad company that is a REAL company will come back with some "OH we are so sorry and all those troubles have been addressed email" but I did not receive any response. Suggesting to me that it is a scam. I could not find one review that actually mentioned receiving a barrel from them.

Bought a barrel for our distillery in the UK and they ran off with the money. As soon as they had our money the correspondence stopped dead in its tracks. Avoid them like the plague!
