College (and college admission) in the US is a huge industry that makes big money. This company is part of that system; their prices are lower than other companies, but still high. We spent $2,000 (!) to have them review our daughter's college application essays, and advise on what colleges to consider and how to apply. Relative to the price, we did not find the service to be helpful, neither in writing her essays nor in helping her select colleges to apply to. The comments to her essays were not in-depth, there was no substantive feedback. We asked a friend who worked in admissions to read her essays; her feedback and input were much more effective and helpful (and free). My advice is to take the whole system with a grain of salt.
