So I placed (my first time order with Designer Discreet) for a LV Girolata Mahina in black on July 12. I already have the authentic Mahina Babylon Chaine BB but I wanted something a bit bigger and the Girolata seemed perfect but I did not want to pay another $3650 after just spending that much on the Babylone (my husband would kill me). So I placed an order with WU payment since it seemed to be the most quickest option. Got some emails about how the payment had some issues being collected. The worker told me that Western Union was giving them some headaches lately in collection. To be honest I got scared since it was my first time I purchased a replica but since I had read positive reviews about DD from many other shoppers who I even PM'd to make sure they were legit I kept calm and carried on. Lo and behold the payment issues resolved themselves and they eventually got my money after about a 2 week delay. I finally got an email from their customer service stating that my order was shipped and I was delighted but also nervous since I wasn't sure whether I had just spent my $$ in a good manner or not. I got a tracking number for EMS and it was really slow to update but after about 2 weeks I finally saw that it had landed in US, cleared customs, and was on its way to me. Anyways the day the parcel came I was working from home and was so ecstatic when it finally arrived at my doorstep but after I accepted it from the USPS delivery man I held my breath as I opened it - wondering whether I would be happy or full of regret as soon as I opened the box. And guess what my bag arrived and is in pristine condition, real leather, and looks like I literally plucked it from the Louis Vuitton boutique. Anyways needless to say I am a true believer in replicas now and honestly can't believe I spent $3k on the authentic Babylone. Replicas will be what I mainly buy from now if they are all as good as this!
Be patient even though the timeline is long since you are shopping with people from a totally different country.
Designer Discreet are scammers, and post their own positive reviews on sitejabber and other websites. Every time someone writes something negative about them, they will post 10 or more positive reviews to hide the review.
I have had very negative experiences with them - and so has almost every other "real" person on the internet. Their site keeps shutting down because of their fraudulent activity, and Western Union advises you not to send them money as they're all flagged. FYI, they are illiterate Chinese people using a Russian domain. Their website is not SSL certified or secure. They used to be designer-discreet.cn but they were shut down for their fraudulent activity and started a new website at the end of last year. This is how they're able to keep stealing and scamming, because they keep changing their domain! They steal web content, product information and product pictures from other site to make their site seem more professional. If you have ever corresponded with them, you will surely see that they can't actually speak a word of English - and use Baidu/Google translate. They also steal your money; I ordered from them and had to make payment via Western Union. Western Union advised me not to, but I took the risk. I sent them the MTCN, and I received notification that they picked up the money - and after 3 days of no word from them I contacted them. They said they didn't receive payment. I then sent the SMS I had received and they said that I fabricated it, because they didn't receive anything. When I contacted Western Union, they also informed me that the money was picked up. They were adamant that they didn't. Then they stopped replying to my emails. I then used my husband's email to message them and buy something really cheap to see if it was the same story. Low and behold, they did the same thing. This time though, they admitted 20 days later that they had "just received the money" (bull$#*! - they picked it up within hours of me sending it) and will send the wallet out as soon as possible. A week passed and no word from them. I contacted them and they said they the wallet is actually out out of stock now. They apparently had two left and they were both defective - and they didn't want to send it to me because of that. I read a few people say that they were told the same thing about various other products! Then then said that they don't have any "cheaper" wallets available. If I add $120 more I can get a nicer wallet. Mind you; I was still pissed about my previous order where they stole $419. So, I went off at them abou that. It's been 3 months - and still no response. They have stolen my money twice.
DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEIR WEBSITE IS "FAKE" - AND ALL THE INFORMATION IS COPIED FROM OTHER WEBSITES. EVEN THEIR FAQs ARE FROM OTHER WEBSITES'.
They are fraudulent and leave their own positive reviews. I have done my research and they keep shutting down because they keep stealing from people. They get reported on a daily for scamming people. I read that they sell the cheapest quality products, too. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THEM!
I have been shopping from DD for over 2 years and bought multiple bags and wallets from them. However, my recent experience with them was horrible. The 3 bags from my last order look like cheap replicas that you can get for less than $30 on ioffer. When I contacted with them about it, they told me that it was normal for them to not to look exactly like the original. I told them that the color was at least 5 shades lighter on the stickers. According to them, "there are good and bad batches and they can't control it". Excuse me! I am paying over $400 per bag so you can control it! On top of that, their solutions about these faulty bags were, first, we can't do anything. Then when i pushed more, they said they could exchange them but i have to pay for the shipping cost both ways and if(and most likely will) the bags are taken by Chinese customs than I would lose the bags so they don't recommend it. Then they offered a wallet of my choice and 5% off if I order 3 more bags from them(so i will give them $1200+ so they can give me $60 discount and a wallet for the other $1200 that i spent on cheap looking replicas they sent to me) and the 3rd offer was a bag that i can choose from their site but it has to be less than $349(so basically a wallet not a bag cuz the bags are over $400 on their site) and i have to pay for shipping and i can't get any discounts. WOW! So let me understand, you say that you guarantee that i would receive the bag from the pic on your site(you can see this guarantee on each listing) but when i don't, you tell me that it was normal because this was a bad batch but if i am really unhappy, i could give them more money so they can give me $60 discount and a cheap wallet.
I am not sure what happened to them this year. I even noticed that they have some bags online now that are not even real replicas. So they started to create a bad looking version of real bags and sell them as mirror copies even though they are nowhere close to the original one(I am not talking about sticker colors, I am talking about design being completely different yet similar so you know which bag they tried to copy and didn't even bother to check it)I asked how they could call themselves the best and not be embarrassed to sell bags like that on their site. That's not even a bad batch anymore, that's a total SCAM! (example: http://designer-discreet.ru/product/louis-vuitton-pochette-metis-10/ is supposed to be a copy of https://ca.louisvuitton.com/eng-ca/products/pochette-metis-monogram-nvprod*******v)
Looks like they try to cut cost on some of the bags they sell so they can have both happy and unhappy customers and survive with it. I received some amazing bags from them too so it is a big gamble. You can pay $400 for a bag and receive an amazing replica or a replica that you wouldn't even pay $30 for because it looks obviously fake.
I am really disappointed with the quality and how bad they look but I am even more disappointed with the lack of solutions and customer service. (oo they also told me to go buy from other sellers because they were so sure that i would come back to them because they had the best quality)
I attached some pictures. All these 3 bags are from this site. Speedy 30 is a create replica with all colors similar to the original. But Neo Noe's are nowhere close to the original(it is really hard to capture the true color on camera, the colors are even more lighter in person :( )
I'm so glad I took the plunge and ordered from DD. I too was afraid it might be a scam, but I'm so happy to find out it's not. I think they're genuinely trying to sell good looking products at prices that are more affordable than the real thing. It's not a cheap place to buy from, but I didn't want a cheap and nasty fake. I've seen some shocking fakes around, but I wanted a good quality replica.
I was afraid to spend too much on my first order, just in case. I ordered a chanel wallet on a chain (it wasn't displayed on the site, but if you ask, they have heaps of other products). I was happy with my order. The bag is lovely. If an expert carefully inspected it, they'd say it's not a real chanel, but who is going to inspect my handbag? It looks real on my arm, so I'm going to enjoy wearing it. I guess it depends how picky you are. I think that if you want genuine, save up and buy genuine. This is a copy, it's not real, but it has soft leather with real-looking hardware AND at $345, it costs a gazillion times less than the real thing. I haven't held the authentic version of the bag in real life, so I'm not sure how accurate the chain is, but the clasp and the bar on top look great.
I got the bag today. It took 4 business days from sending my payment via western union to receiving my package (in Sydney, Australia) -- I thought that was great. It does smell chemical-y, which is a turn off, but one of the other reviewers said the smell disappears, I have it airing in my wardrobe now. If the smell goes away soon I'll be super happy. I guess the bag's been sitting in a factory rather than in a store, so that's to be expected. The paperwork doesn't look very authentic (the authenticity card etc), but I'm not too worried because i didn't buy it to resell.
I have to say that unlike some of the other reviews here, I was SO impressed by the service! I used the wechat app. Emily is awesome! She answered all my questions within about an hour! I kept asking whether they had this or that (they have so much more than they put on their site). She was so patient with me. It was like having a sales assistant at my beck and call. Over the course of about two weeks I kept messaging her with questions about various bags and charms and scarfs, and she answered every time. I even changed my mind about which bag to order, but she was patient. Emily was the main reason I trusted the site. I just kept telling myself that a scammer wouldn't go to so much trouble just to get a few hundred bucks from me! Haha! I was glad to find out that they're real people on the other end, offering a genuine service. Phew!
I have an authentic LV wallet, shawl and the Favorite at home, and I do plan to buy more authentic LV, but Im going to try an LV from DD next. I think most of the good reviews from DD are in regards to their LV items, so I look forward to seeing how good these are. I'm addicted to the look of high end bags but I can't justify spending tens of thousands on them. With this site, I might be able to satisfy some of my cravings at a more reasonable price. By the way, I've always been so skeptical when I read reviews, I always wonder if they are written by the company themselves. But I'm actually a real customer and I can write anything I want here! It restores my faith in the review process! :)
I ordered 3 bags and a purse to qualify for the initial summer 2017 promotion of the free Neverfull bag before they revised it to four bags.
It was my first time ordering and I was really nervous about it. So the good thing is that I have received 2 bags out of my order, 2 weeks from payment. I love the bags, and I think that is sufficient proof that they are not a fraud.
BUT here are the bad things to help manage your expectations of this site:
Firstly, the day after payment, I got an email saying the Givenchy Antigona bag I ordered was out of stock in the nude pink colour that I really liked, so they asked me to choose another colour. I decided to go with another bag altogether to replace it. But this really is a waste of time and expectations, especially since I was looking forward to getting the Givenchy bag and the amount you pay is NOT insignificant. I chose 2 YSL bags, one of which was out of stock and I had to ask them which was in stock to know. It was cheaper than the Givenchy so they said they would credit the difference to my account. There is no formal way of them showing this in my account so I asked them to send me an email as proof. The email sent did not look very legit but alot of how they operate is kind of like getting the customer to take that leap of faith and trust them. Let's see how that pans out.
4 days after this email, I get another email with photos asking me to OK the sending of the Gucci shoulder bag I ordered. It looked OK and I was excited to receive it.
This is where it gets VERY ANNOYING. A whole week after the pictures, I get an email from DD saying that my Gucci bag was rejected or faulty, I can't discern from the bad english. And so they asked me to choose a replacement bag. This is the second time in the same order that I have looked forward to a bag after painstakingly choosing one- on a website which is quite difficult to navigate through.
I have since chosen a replacement style but it is aggravating to say the least and now at 2 weeks since I paid, they cannot confirm if the second replacement bag I have chosen is in stock and is not faulty. They also recommended that I choose a 2nd replacement bag in case there are issues. I'm still waiting for their reply and for them to complete my order.
I suppose these are the hidden costs to 'saving money' on the real deal. It is a real pain in the butt but at the very least, I know DD didn't just take my money and run- as I understand the anxiety once you wire the money over.
Also, they aren't very prompt with emails, it's a touch and go, I didn't get my confirmation email after ordering until I added Emily on WeChat - whom I must say is a very commendable sales staff. She seems to be prompt enough and gets things moving faster.
Lastly, I really wish DD would update their shop items as to display out of stock items is incredibly disappointing for the customer. It's a very basic thing to just even show an 'out of stock' sign beside said item, and that itself would go miles in managing the shopping experience of the users.
So buyers beware, once you transfer the money, you might be saddled with these issues.
