I ordered from this company a few months ago. They are very reliable and have had no downtime. They also have a very simple control panel and it is easy to get a hold of customer service if I ever need any help.
I had my darkstar server for over 2 years. It was plagued by poor connection issues, and at one point they just "decommissioned" the machine my server was on without any warning, while it was in use.
I had cash in my account upon cancellation, and their policy is to not refund those funds. The company was short with me when I requested a refund and i was told that they would not give me that money back, basically stealing from me and hiding behind "Terms of Service" to justify that theft.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
I took a server from darkstar by clicking the GAME SERVERS 3 DAYS RISK FREE TRIAL button. After 2 days, i asked them to cancel and refund me. They told me ``You might be confusing the 3 day refund with the free trial servers we offer. We don't have a 3 day refund policy. Our refund policy is outlined in our terms of service and is only provided in the event that there is an issue with our service that we are unable to resolve with in 5 days of being informed of it.`` they seem to be playing with words and their advertisement is wrong on their website.
