No way would I open my wallet for this site. I stay free membership. How's this for part of a message sent to me? "Well am a mixed race my father from Thailand and my mother from Ghana but I moved to my mother now in Ghana since my father died in a car accident and lost him life." Just waiting for the, "I'm in need of money... " message.
A lot more sophisticated than emails from Nigerian jungle Lords saying they want us to help them with sharing $100,000,000 worth of locked funds in an offshore bank account.
Some how my credit card started getting charges from this website. I never heard of them before that. Had charges disputed last month, then they showed up again this month, blocked payment to the company and had a new care reissued. About the only way to stop them from getting any more money...
This is one of my favorite dating sites I have used. I guess dating sites like Mingle2day may offer a larger member base in certain regions but I also felt comfortable on Cupid. I did not meet anyone, but it was a fun site to use.
Cupid is a criminal operation. Most US banks will not let you use their credit cards to sign up for a reason -- Cupid will renew your paid membership even when you have an end date. They hide the place where you get to stop the subscription. Most people have to google to find the page. It is also filled with romance scammers -- and they are not removed even if you report them. I know, I've reported them and they were never removed. -- If you want waste money join. If you want to meet real people go somewhere else.
Dating through this service takes confidence. Everyone has taken the step, and you will not regret it because I got the best experience after taking the first step to join.
I signed up for free... immediately I got a few people who were "interested" even though I never even put a profile pic. The one response was obviously fake because it made a comment about a pic. I never posted. Then... the other lived on the opposite coast of me... when I went to reply. It said I had to upgrade my account to a paid one in order for her to see my email. I'm not saying the entire site is a sham... but if u r truly interested in meeting someone real without paying. This is not the site.
I agreed to pay £2.97 for 3 days. After 1 day I cancelled as I suspected the site could not do what it boasted. They took another £14.90 for 'VIP'? As I cancelled after a day I asked them for the exact time of my order for this VIP? No reply and not expecting one. This is a fraudulent outfit free to raid any account they have details for because the authorities are toothless despite years of complaints about this con company.
Wish I could give it a less than one star. This site is horrible! It's impossible to navigate and about 90% or more of the people viewing you/emailing you/whatever are from nowhere near where you are. It's more of a scam site than anything else!
Cupid isnt a bad dating site but ive seen better y'all. Check it out but keep your expectations in check! Although nice to see WeJustFit getting some good reviews on the net these days, I've been using that since it started and singing it's praises forever! Kicks $#*!!
It's obvious that Cupid had extreme bad reviews at the very start and now... recently extremely positive reviews. Did they improve their business model? As a writer of a book about internet dating it doesn't take too much investigation that something could be wrong over here. The problem of all review sites is that fake reviews are made to get better rankings. And if a website gets mainly 5 or 1 star reviews you should be carefull.
After watching an investigative journalism program on this site, I decided to create a couple of free profiles and see what happened. Sure enough, within minutes, in came the emails saying people wanted to meet/email.
Quite why anyone pays to use these sites when FREE alternatives exist bemuses me.
I guess people get what they deserve, not what they pay for.
Takes ages to get going. I skipped some questions tbh. Real people on there at least and seems genuine. A bit like that we just fit' dating site but that one doesn't have all the questions at the start. Dave from Oxford

Then got charged £29.99 for a month, it took 22 days to cancel subscription trying every day. Sent them 9 emails which they never responded to. And never got hold of anybody on there complex phone system,
Once you give your bank details, you will be continually charged until you cancel.
But you can't cancel?
Please people don't use this site

Lot's of ladies contacted me saying they live in my city. We start to chat and them I ask them something like "what is your closest intersection, I want to make sure you're really from here". All the sudden the chat stops. Why, because it's them chating with you not the person represented.
I was looking at this site about three months ago and joined for about 2 weeks. I decided it wasn't for me, and subsequently cancelled my membership. I heard nothing further from this dating site. Then 3 days ago I began to see messages from users in my email. Today I was checking my bank account and found that this company processed a charge of $99.98 on my PayPal account! I do not even use the PayPal any longer. I have tried to contact Pink Cupid all day with no result. I am filing a dispute with B of A against this payment.
Cupid had fake profile and fake agents running those profile... All they would try to make to purchase membership and after that also they will pramote more fake site to chat... Even if some girls will chat u over your messenger soone she will be gone...
Even if someone here says he had a good experience then that too basterd is cupid agent...
Just find a free app which dont change you anything. If someone chare you for message its truly fake.
Strongly telling you cupid had enough fake site not only one... They even run website on each country name. If u dont believe me serch for cupid and then any country name you will find each page for each country so they can charge you more letting you slip to there other paid website... And even some of them dont had a name of cupid but still they are run by cupid...

Before we pay, we get a lot faved, views, likes, messages from attractive women. Once we pay, they disappear and never respond, if we ask a direct question, we get a auto reply, that makes no sense. The fake faves, etc is used to hook us, to pay. This should be illegal, websites should be held to the same standards as any business. This is false advertising and theft! I know what type of woman, would face me, like me, etc. It is so obvious when they are ghost profiles. The owners of this site needs to be held accountable and arrested! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

Nothing but con men. The site puts your profile on all of their other sites without your permission. The site sends bogus messages to you as an auto reply from someone when in fact the person never contacted you. If you look in your sent mail, you will
Find replies that you have never sent.
I hope that someone pays attention to this and has this site investigated.
I can't log into my account. With my password or email and their both correct it keeps kicking me out. I have the membership I feel scammed and used. No way to contact customer service that's very frustrating

Avoid them or you will lose money. If You pay membership ask from paypal return.
Make your review of them on this website or others for scammers.
Also never put your ID as verification process as they steal identity.
