I tried this to create a resume for free as a trial and actually got the resume I wanted. I even included a cover letter for a nominal amount of $2+. All of this knowing that there is NO subscription. However, when I checked my credit card lately, I discovered that I was being charged MONTHLY, for 3 months already, for $23.85 each month. I do not think that I need a monthly service for a resume that I will be reusing over and over. When I logged in to the account to check why I am being charged, I saw there that I have a monthly subscription. Prior to calling their representative to clarify this, I checked my emails for receipts or any documentation regarding the billing and subscription. I did not find any. What I found are just notifications of the creation of my resume and the different cover letters that I made. I got suspicious now and I called the website. But before the call, I canceled the "subscription" just so I won't be charged again, and printed the cancellation page. The person I talked to claimed that I have agreed to all the terms and was sent copies of those agreements. I asked if he could forward those to me so I can examine them but he refused and just said that I have copies, in a dismissive way. He offered me to cancel my subscription and I said, "Wait, it's not canceled yet? I just canceled it prior to talking to you." He asked me if I have a confirmation number for the cancellation and I checked my printout. On the supposed cancellation page, it was not really a cancellation but an offer of other options with different amounts and you still have to call them to fully cancel. I pointed out to him that their business is being deceptive by making a client run through hoops thinking he is doing everything right and completely, only to realize later that the steps were intentionally confusing, misleading, and halfway done to disguise their business practices so you will still end up subscribing and not canceling. Never again. Beware.
