I've been a tutor at coursehero and recently the platform has been shutting down tutor accounts without explain why they are doing so. May 23 2022 was the first wave this year. Come June 8th the same incident happens and their support team doesn't even communicate anything. If your a tutor planning to join coursehero better try out other platforms. Be warned that even student accounts have issues. Once you post your documents you can't have them back.

On 6th July, 2021, tutors who withdrew money from their Course Hero Accounts experienced the worst day of their tutoring career. The money never reflected in the PayPal Accounts up to today and there is no glimpse of hope that they will trace their money.

I am a tutor at CH and after working hard all day and night helping students, I always withdraw money and it reflects on PayPal BUT yesterday 6th July, 2021, I withdrew my hard earned money but the money disappeared. It never reflected in my PayPal Account.

I have tried to reach out to the Tutor Support Team to no avail. I have sent number emails asking them to assist me find where my money went and no response so far.

I contacted PayPal to see if there is pending transaction and PayPal told me to go back to Course Hero and ask them to tell me where my funds went to. I have never experienced such since I started tutoring at Course Hero. My hard earned over $100 on withdrawal went and vanished like that.

Somebody help us because a number of tutors have raised the same concern of money disappearing on 6th July, 2021.

It is' hurting and sad to withdraw money and it disappears when I needed it the most.
