I paid for a subscription June 20,2015. I was given 3 options. One seemed more economical, it stated the price and "3 months", nothing else. Clicking on it, it takes you to the payment processing page. I failed to look this page over. The initial price was tripled, and I only found out thru my emailed receipt. The advertised price is PER MONTH, not for 3 months. Added onto this, there is a credit system, which I was not aware of during my purchase. Every time you send me message, you lose credits, so you will likely run out of credits and have to pay even more if you are active. I was really maddened by the marketing scam, deleted my picture and profile information. I called their Customer Service number. Beware: They have a no refund policy, which is apparently available in 3 different areas. They downgraded me to a 1 month subscription, instead of my quarterly, so I got a partial refund which works out to about 40%. This is high end-marketing, bordering being a scam, but they have lawyers write their policies and it's all "legal", just not ethical. Don't expect any customer service from them. I can't comment on the selection from the website. My account shall remain inactive for the month, and I cannot recommend CougarLife under any circumstances. 30 year old professional male

I made an account because that's the only way that I could read the messages that were being sent to me, turns out there automated messages by the system.
Ones I paid the account of I finally got to message the older woman in the site all turned out to be looking for a serious relationship with a younger guy are you f****** serious.

I was under the impression that this is a wild side where I could meeting older woman take her of for dinner maybe have some fun.
But as far as I can tell they are all looking for a serious relationship I'm probably marriage.

The whole time I was in the site about a month altogether I got one message.

Had so much more luck with Tinder and POF that I would never ever try this again nor would I recommend it to any other men unless you're the type of guy who doesn't mind sitting on the computer for many hours filtering through all these women trying to find one who is actually wild and fun.

These fraudsters should be prosecuted. They even ADMIT, in their "Terms of Service," to having CL employees post "fictitious" profiles "for entertainment purposes." Haha! These fake profiles are posted by what they call "Cougar's Cs." Read the Terms of Service for yourself before posting your photo and/or personal info, or parting with your money. CL themselves ADMIT that they post "fictitious profiles" for your own "ENTERTAINMENT." What a joke! So sad that some low-life people must cheat other people to make a living. Scum of the earth people who refuse to get an honest job but prefer to cheat us unsuspecting fools! Word to the wise: STAY AWAY!

Cougar Life is a joke! First of all I get nothing but bullsh** flirts from profiled that all of the sudden are "under review" (fake) then the women on here act like a young man my age of 21 wants something stable snd long term. No 9 times out 10 we are just trying to fu** older woman because of a desire and want to have an older woman. We think that hopefully since they are older they understand the concept of NSA! Now don't get me wrong I respect an older woman and would love to converse and drink wine and really pay attention, buuuut Cougar Life is the biggest waste of time and scam to even get to that opportunity. Smh. I would give that sh** a negative star if I could.

Gentlemen, you need to understand: It is more like a regular DATING site. Compared to Cougars69, which is more like a HOOK UP site. You most likely won't find any one night stands on CL but women seeking a long term relationship with a younger man.

Again, if you just want to have a fun time I advise you to visit a different "Cougar Site" but if you want to find a long term age gap relationship: Here you go! It does not get any better!

This site is a total scam. First they include a recurring charge on your credit card or PayPal account. The PayPal account recharge is easy to spot and cancel, but it's not so easy with a credit card (so never use that for any of this kind of site).
Next, they have tons of fake women. Women are allowed to join free, only men are charged.
Next, they send fake messages to you which makes you want to join up because your few free messages quickly run out.
Next, you will never hook up with anyone. Why? Just join under a fake female account and see where you are on the list of desperate men looking for females. Nowhere, that's where. You won't show up at all to females looking for men unless you also agree to pay a surcharge to lift you to the top of the list (meaning actually put you on the list).
They have a refund policy that only applies to those signing up for the top-tier subscription but the rules make it impossible to collect.
Only a total sucker (me) would join this site. Don't get sucked in like I did.

Well, i started with a free account, but then kept getting some messages from hot cougars, and couldnt read it since i wasnt subscribed. They even use some ugly ones so that you think its might be true, a real catch. Then i signed up, pay for the monthly one. To my suprise all those messages were nothing but people who then invite you to watch their web cam bll$#*!. Im even sure its not those people on the picture, but some dudes with no life hiding nehing computers and using people/s pictures to get you to sign up. Dont waste your money. PLUS FOR EACH MESSAGE, YOU LOOSE CREDIT, THE MONTHLY THING IS BLL$#*! AS WELL. You better off watching porn.

I am not saying its 100% bull$#*! cuz I still got 3 months to go but its def 90% bull$#*!. I sign up for 3 month membership recently and as soon as im in I get a lot of girls flirting and contacting me so im like nice, prob because this is my first time signing up for a online dating site ever, just looking for something a lil dif, a lil kinky. They message you via email and trust me its a scam. Its not even random im on my 13th girl chat in a row and they all eventually follow the same pattern of wanting your credit card info for cam sites or this Id Verification bull$#*!, which from what I gather is just making you sign up for a whole different dating site. I mean there not even clever with it, im contacting young, older, different ethnicity and they all say the same things, I mean down to the letter like there is this one lady writing everyone and she ran out of diversity so she recycles the same lines, its kinda funny and sad when I think about the money part. I mean there was a commercial on tv, so doesn't that mean that there was approval or testing of some sort to see if it is legit and works before airing it out, thats what my dumb $#*! thought and so far not good. Im playing with these chick on the emails calling them out, sense of humor goes out the window and they start sounding like robots. Gonna call to complain tomorrow but Im pretty sure I will just be talking to another robot. But again thats so far, although I do not have high hopes of improvement I will be writing an update review if things kinda change

First of all, let me just say that I have no problem meeting women either online or in person. I have been on Match.com and met a ton of people and never had a complaint about it. I rarely complain about stuff, but I really felt like I have to make sure no one gets scammed if he or she is trying to make up his/her mind. This site a COMPLETE RIP OFF. So I created a profile and I started getting a lot of messages. After about 10 of them of so, I decided to purchased a membership for $40 (which by the way is more expensive than 90% of the websites out there). After opening up the messages, ALL the people who sent me messages had no narratives on their profiles. So obviously, they are not real folks. They might have real cougars on there, but I just did not encounter any.

I called customer service and this is where it gets better: they have a no refund policy and they even tell you that "It takes 2-3 months before you even meet one person." Now to me that sounds like you can HOPE to meet someone $120 later after investing 3 months of e-mailing fictitious ladies. The worst is customer service is so poor; you litteraly have to wait one hour before you can talk to someone. They told me to be patient as they were having difficulties with scammers on the site and the issue would be resolved soon. Well after minimal research, it turns out that today is 8/13/10 and they've been saying the same thing to other customers since last year. Those are facts, not opinions.

Do yourself a great favor, NEVER EVER sign up on this website. I would recommend it under no circumstances.
