I can't believe how many negative reviews I've read about Coinamatic over several websites. They make a lot of claims and have been around for a long time, but from the reviews and customer experiences, I have no idea how or why they are still in business? This is what they claim to be their motto..."You know Coinamatic as "Canada's Most Trusted Name in Laundry Services," however, as a look at our corporate overview will show, we are so much more than a simple laundry company" What a joke! Their machines frequently break down and not reliable at all. I also feel that they operate somewhat fraudulently with washing machines that aren't efficient and don't have a good spin cycle to dry clothes enough and therefore, people needing to dry clothes twice. Unfortunately, most people don't bother complaining about $3, but considering the amount of fraud on this company's part, this does add up to millions I'm certain. I've also sent several emails on their website requesting a refund for some issues and have not even received a single email acknowledgement (you have to put email in) and nor have I received a refund. I've also asked several people in my building and everyone has had issues! Perhaps it's time for a more reputable company to take over this market as it appears to have lots of room for competitors!

My building has been using their service for years but ever since they went online everything has gone wrong. I still have the option of using my laundry card but thought to try the app and twice I was missing money and they also charge $0.25 every time to load the app so I went back to the laundry card and use cash now to load it. No fees and I don't seem to be missing money. The most frustrating part is their online portal that allows you to see which washers and dryers are in use IS NEVER accurate. It never seems to sync. There is no way to contact the company as they don't have an email anymore and the online form doesn't apply to this issue. They must be very cheap for my landlord to hire this horrible company.
