The variac was the best price that I found. It arrived fairly quickly and was packed extremely well so it was in pristine shape. In fact, others could learn from you on how to pack a box so it arrives safely. I just did a quick test and everything is working as it should. I have ordered several items from this company and both times they came through with flying colors. The response to emailed questions have been rapid and to the point. Shipments go right out the door if they have the item in stock. I fully intend to order more equipment in the future.

Ordered about 2 dozen items from Circuit Specialists and received my order in a matter of days. Great products at great prices with fast delivery. This is my 2nd order in the final quarter of this year.

Over all i was very happy with the time of delivery (only took about 6 days) and the way the item was package. There was no way that that thing was going to break on the way here. And for the soldering station itself, couldn't ask for a better deal for a beginner it works like a charm.

I spent about 80 dollars in total to ship this meter to me, and let me tell you it is not worth 80 dollars at all.
This meters' should be price is 30 dollars max as the build quality is poor and the zero adjustment function is not even accurate.
I would refund this meter if the costs wont be high.

This is my second one of these (two different labs). I'm very happy with it. The reason for four stars is that the directions for assembly are pretty much useless. To figure out where stuff goes you have to go to the image that is on line at Circuit Specialists and look at the photo to assemble it.
The quality is good even when compared to units that cost twice as much or more.

My item arrived damaged, not due to shipping. I opened the box and the face of the variance fell off. I tried to screw it back on using the screws that were still on it, but they are stripped. I bought it as a refurbished unit, but wont do that again.
However, the returns process was very easy, therefore I gave a higher rating based primarily on that. Thank you.

Directory could be improved to help find things more easily, but on the whole it was pretty straightfoward. Shipment didn't have a packing list which I found strange - but it was as ordered.
Will shop here again.

The courier had the wrong address, incorrect phone number, had to pay a brokerage fee before they corrected the address. Courier would only take a online payment, not cash. Delivery was delayed three days because of this. Do not deal with DHL. Last purchase with circuit specialists I never had this problem.

Don't get me wrong, this is a real nice unit, I'm just hopping my inexperience hasn't let me assume it will adjust in ways that it wasn't meant to! Time will tell if this Old Carpenter is cut out for Hobby Electronics.

I have been wanting an electronic load for years! I need is to test battery capacity, this guy is perfect for 100Ahr batteries. Easy to use and having the labview code sample is a great starter for future projects. Now I have only had this a week and have only tested 6 batteries but so far so good. Ordered it and received in under 5 days!

Bought the variac and Mooshimeter. Really like both products. The variac I received was actually the upgraded model above what I ordered and was very happy to get it delivered very well packaged and all in good order.

Needed a Digital Multi Meter to use in my home shop. Just retired after 40 years as a field technician with an electric utility and have used all types of test equipment. Mastech DMM has all the fetures I need at a fraction of the cost of a Fluke. It fits my budget and needs perfectly.

Great gear that performs better than the price would indicate. The multimeter is more tool than most would need but for less than $50 it's hard to say no to it!

Everything that was shiped initially arrived quick and it was all that I expected in the way of gear. So far eveything has worked as expected with an execption of the magnifying lamp station, not very bright. So far seems to do the job but would be nice if brighter... Premier Soldering station is excellant, fast to get to temp and all the items included make this a great purchase!

The pouch for the 10 piece pliers I ordered, item number HH*******SET arrived with a razor cut down the center of the middle of the pouch. Very disappointing that you would ship me a product in this condition.

I am pleased with my purchase. It arrived fairly quickly. The only way to get cheaper prices is outside the country and would take a considerably longer time to arrive.

The scope does not trigger well and the frequency counter is all over the map. The waveform is not clean, there is a lot of noise on it compared to an analog scope. I was using a 50mv 440Hz sine wave as a source. I troubleshoot a lot of noise problems, this scope is not suitable for that purpose.
