I had the pleasure of finding David Petersmith of Choice Realty in Pine Junction, Colorado to be my realtor. He has bent over backwards to make sure that I was happy and everything was fair. On the day of closing, after closing, I discovered a sewage backup in the property that made the property unlivable. This was not there at the time that I made the offer and no one was aware of it, not even the previous owner. David and his wonderful son went the extra mile, a million miles for me. They got under the house and dealt with that open sewage problem themselves and cleaned up the mess. They even bought me a new toilet. They did it all at their own expense and wouldn't take a penny. Since then, Dave has spent a lot of time with me over the phone (again after closing) getting the chimney fixed per the agreement and making sure that I had heat and water in the property that I bought from him. He is the absolute best and most honest realtor that you will ever find. He works with his wife, who is also top of the line, as well as his son. I highly recommend Dave Petersmith as your realtor of choice. You'll never find a better realtor.

I need to amend my previous review about David Peter Smith of Choice Realty in Pine Junction, Colorado. Although I was very impressed with his effort after closing in the correction of my sewer problems, I feel it is my responsibility to also let people reading this know that when I purchased it from him, he did not tell me that the house I bought from him could not get FHA financing. I have just spent the the last 13 months trying to sell this property that was unwarrantable and not eligible for FHA financing, and I think that anybody who is going to use Dave Peter Smith as a realtor needs to be very aware of what they are buying and find out for yourself what you are buying, because he did not tell me, and it has truly wrecked my life for over a year unnecessarily. If I had known people could not get FHA financing on it, I would have never, ever have bought that property. I paid cash for it. I feel that it is my responsibility to report this to the people that have read my previous review. Thank you. This was my personal experience.
