After talking with them they are refunding part of my expenses and giving me a partial credit. All is well

To Whom This May Concern:
SAVE YOUR TIME AND DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS AGENCY! Again, I am here to type this as a follow up to an old Review, I was asked to take down, if they could help me. Well, GUESS WHAT?
It's been almost a year since I purchased tickets for a trip with my husband when we all developed Covid and had to cancel our trip. After several long conversations with them and we paid $100 to hold our tickets. They extended our credit and was told we could use it by our date we purchased the former ones. Sounds Fair? They told me to use my old booking number to purchase tickets. I saved that number for reference, because, of course, we were going to the same place and the same dates, again this next year.
Well, here we go. I called to book tickets and guess what they said? We have to book by December 1,2022, and we have to be back from our trip by December 1,2022. Does That Make Sense? I would have NEVER agreed to that! The original person I spoke to, (Marcellus) knew our new dates were going to be the same! I was told to call American Airlines, because they have our money? And see if they would validate our credit. Ha!

Hello Mrs. Parker:

Thank you for contacting American Airlines Customer Relations regarding your tickets purchased through a third-party booking website, CheapFlightFares.com. For further assistance with itinerary changes, or exceptions to the terms of the ticket please reach out to your travel agency directly. These tickets are restricted and can only be handled by the agency that received the payment for your ticket.
When a reservation is created through a travel agency, the agency has full control over the ticket and will be best able to serve you. While we regret that when you have reached out to that organization, and they have been unable to assist you with your request, we are unable to make an exception to our ticket policy in this case. I am sorry for any further disappointment this causes; however, this matter must be addressed directly with your travel agency.
We appreciate your AAdvantage® loyalty very much, Mrs. Parker, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on board an American flight soon.

So, here we are AGAIN! IT'S JUST NOT WORTH OUR TIME, DON'T WASTE YOURS!
*January 2022 (previous complaint)
I did not even want to give them a 1 STAR…
I did not even want to give them a 1 star! I called to cancel and asked for a least a credit and they wanted us to pay more money. Our travel companions have Covid and we were exposed and they told us until we tested positive, they couldn't do anything about our refund or credit. Absolutely against CDC guidelines. We found out 36 hours before we were supposed to leave the country. For obvious reasons, we didn't want to end up positive with Covid in a foreign country and have to quarantine there until we were negative. On top of that, the representative that I spoke with (Bunney) was consistently speaking over me trying to explain. I have never spoken with ANY customer service that could be so rude. He was not helpful and was not a good representative for the CheapFlightsFare.com site. American Airlines needs to not let them represent them either. It's terrible representation for them. We are out $1670.70 due to this terrible choice. I will never use them and they should be shut down, after reading so many reviews that compare to this review! The only positive reviews were the ones that were able to use their tickets without any issues. We have traveled many places and used many sites to order vacation accommodations and have never lost our money. CheapFlightFares is definitely a SCAM!

*Marcellus called us back on 1/10/2022 and ask us to take down review, if he could contact American Airlines and have our money refunded or credited. I even gave him our travel companions names and flight info for American to verify to him. (By the way, American immediately credited the other party, without any question) He asked us for 24-48 hours to have this reviewed. It's now 1/17/2022 and no call has been made back to us. My husband called "Marcellus" back to find out if anything had been done, and he has not had a reply. I am reposting this for anyone that thinks this is a good site to go to and order tickets. Oh, and By The Way...we are now recovering from Covid!
