Unsatisfied with your service

Was dissatisfied with the service you provided,, you wanted me to use a part you supplied, which was inferior to what was needed, and you made me pay the difference. The company which did my repair needed 2 hours for install, you only paid for 1 hour, again I had to pay the difference. We have been paying for your service for years and this is what we get for it. You should mention this in your advertising, which sorry to say, you don't. We have never had to use your service before for a car that is 17years old, because we have always used quality parts, you are misleading your customer base, and your response time to get the service done is not very good. We are thinking seriously about dropping your company.

Disappointed and not understanding

I have been with American Auto Shield for quite some time and I have to admit I am very disappointed about the way I have found out that they do business.
First of all they don't protect their customers from being forced to pay excessive fees and over priced parts and labor costs to auto repair shops. They in fact just in my opinion what I am experiencing is they are almost condoning this behavior. Because they are just saying that they are ok to charge whatever price they want. Just saying that we will not pay because the customer will have to pay it or not be able to get their vehicle out of the repair shop. So once they have been established as the repair shop the customer is stuck with NOT THE DEDUCTIBLE ACCORDING TO THE CONTRACT BUT ACCORDING TO THE AMOUNT THAT AMERICAN AUTO SHIELD REFUSED TO PAY AND DROP ON THE LAP OF IT'S CUSTOMERS.
AND THIS IS FLAT OUT WRONG. AND UNFAIR PRACTICES. PERIOD!

Betty, we apologize that you are not satisfied with our services. Our Adjustors work hard to negotiate repair costs with repair shops, but ultimately, we do not have control over the pricing decisions made by each facility. There is a nationally recognized labor guide that provides recommendations on what to charge for certain services, but it is up to each shop to decide whether or not to follow it. We are always willing to go over your contract with you, explain the claim process, and address any issues. Car shield saved me and my car.

Thank goodness I have car shield car shield had my back my car engine needed 2 repairs in a 2 week period if car shield was not here for me! I would have lost my baby, my 2006 cadillac cts and thanks to all the real actors that represent car shield they all are telling the customers the truth!

Unacceptable and treated like customers are not valued. I have to always call about the updates status on my car being in the shop and not don't appreciate the way employees are treating me as a customers. Every time I speak to someone it's always something different and claiming that I can't speak with management. Thats not acceptable It shouldn't take 7 days to take a look paper and make a decision
