We just a few months ago signed up for Car Shield and have not yet submitted any claim. It's too early for us to make any kind of recommendation.
The rep was very helpful with replacing the covered vehicle and explaining the coverage. He was very nice and professional.

The main reason I left car shield is because of home shield.
Brought my car to be inspected (so I could tag my car). Needed a tirod. I showed him my CarShield card, He said "not worth the paper it was written on". They REFUSED to take the card. "Have had cars left on my lot for 3-4 days, before they paid". I called Customer Service. She was very helpful, but couldn't do anything. She suggested I send in the invoice and "maybe they will give you something back on it." I went online to get a webaddress. No luck. I DID get a response saying,"UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE would we pay an invoice after the fact." I just did what their CUSTOMER Service rep suggested.
Car Shield would not cover a part that clearly in my service agreement.

I had no problem I just wanted to be on the same page with everybody and with the mechanic is about to fix on my car to fix like yesterday it been a while an I'm struggling with transportation having to get back an forth to work otherwise I'm good.
Somewhat satisfied since the first claim was denied even though the time and mileage had surpassed the needed per contract. They said it was an existing problem!
