Product arrived leaking with a loose lid. Instead of taking responsibility, Care to Beauty called it a "cosmetic issue" and refused fair compensation. Their complaint policy protects them, not the customer. I won't order again.
I used Care to Beauty for an order to Saudi Arabia. It seems they have absolutely no knowledge of custom taxes here. I paid over 1200 SAR total, including 300 SAR for shipping and supposedly all additional charges like customs. I specifically chose the option that was supposed to include everything. But UPS didn't honour that claim – I was still charged additional VAT on delivery. What's worse, their customer service is absolutely useless. They didn't contact UPS on time, and when I requested a refund, they insisted I send them a receipt – even though they already received it by email. I got tired of dealing with such an unprofessional company. Overall, the order was overpriced and I could've bought everything locally for less. Do not recommend ordering through Care to Beauty in the GCC at all.
Beware - caretobeauty sells Expired products unsuitable for use. Ordered a La Prairie product wherein batch code check on checkfresh showed it was expired and was over 4 years old production. Checked with the La Prairie shop who advised the batch code is an expired product and not suitable for use. The La Prairie website also shows validity is 36 months inclusive of 12 month PAO. However despite pointing all this caretobeauty ignored what La Prairie store stated and had the audacity to claim that cosmetics in Europe have unlimited shelf life wherein expiry starts only after product is opened based on PAO time. This means they will happily sell even 10 year or older products and deny any responsibility that it could cause harm to customers' skin. Considering it was a USD 610 product and also I paid USD 100 for customs / VAT for an expired product which could not be used - I requested for a return. They said I would have to pay in advance shipping charges by UPS to Portugal denying any responsibility of cheating me by shipping an expired product. I have been requesting that this is an online order and hence it is their responsibility to book courier pickup of product back from me and refund me after that accordingly (product is in sealed condition) but they are not not replying anymore.
