Excellent Manual QA course that taught the basics and fundamentals of testing. The course provided an overview of the various types of testing to be done, and especially on the unit testing in which we can identify more defects. An interesting topic taught by professionals in the industry who had excellent knowledge of the topic. The internship was also helpful. You could exchange the ideas, seek clarification, and proceed further. This course gave me a clear ground-level understanding of software testing concepts and other concepts.

I have taken 2 courses with QA (Manual and Automation) both really informative and practical. Instructors are easy to learn from and really helpful when you have a question. Also I had a totaly free bonus - Python intensive course. Thank you, guys!

After college, I worked a variety of jobs in admin, higher ed, and HR before I realized I felt unfulfilled in my career. I took each job opportunity as it came, but I didn't feel like I ever made a deliberate choice with what I wanted to do. After continual research and soul searching, I found out about the sales in tech and thought it would be the perfect extension of my already existed experience with the added creativity that was missing in my career. Also through that research, I stumbled upon Careerist and was considering their online Tech Sales Training program. After lots of planning, I decided to quit my full-time job to complete the 8-week course. It was the scariest decision I've ever made. But it also was the best thing I've ever done.

Careerist made it easier to switch from my previous career to testing. The instructors are always improving the courses to make sure we learn the skills required by the current industry. Overall I found that my teachers were well prepared, clear in their explanations and always ready to help. The only issue that I had with the course is the lack of writing material to refer too. Certain lessons were outdated as well but it is too expect when programmes are changing all the time. Instructors were quick to react in this case and we never lost lesson time because of it. During our project week, instructors made sure to guide us without doing the work for us and I believe that really helps set the new skills we were taught. Finally, the support with the job search has been outstanding, Careerist staff was very responsive and always ready to help.

Overall I was pleased with the Manual QA course that I attended, which was held for seven weeks. Although I was already familiar with many of the topics, it was good to receive a refresher course on best practices. I do wish that there was more explanation of intermediate tactics in software testing. The course was worth the money.

This 4 week journey to learn about Sales in tech has been fun, challenging and inspiring. Over the course of the 4 weeks we have all worked on our own project and taken it through the full user centred sales process of research and then testing and iterating further. It's been great to be amongst a bunch of innovative and creative people, and to see their projects come together at the end. Now we have some real word skills to bring back into our work as well! Definitely recommend this course if you're interested in Tech Sales.

Completing the online QA Automation course at Careerist was without a doubt life changing. I entered the course with little coding experience, and came out equipped with the skills to land myself a job as a tester within eleven weeks of graduating. Their instructors bring real world, professional experience into the classroom and have the patience and good humour to push you through even the toughest parts of the course. Career support begins on day one, and outcomes producers work hard throughout the course & beyond to make sure students are ready to start working, and to make sure they're going into a job they'll love. The graduates community were available throughout the course for advice & guidance, and will remain one of my most valuable networks of friends & colleagues for the rest of my life. I am extremely grateful to Careerist for providing me with the skills and network I needed to succeed in the wonderful world of QA Automation.

Graduating from Systems Engineering course at Careerist was one of the most challenging yet rewarding things I have done in my life!
I highly recommend the program. The teachers were super knowledgeable, the curriculum well developed and the career coach super supportive. Be ready to spend 6 months of completely dedicating yourself to studying. The program is very fast passed and includes both front-end and back-end engineering. I was able to find a job after 1 month of graduation.

I took the QA Automation online course at Careerist. It was 11 weeks plus a lot of outside work but definitely worth it. In my opinion, you got out of the class what you put in. If you wanted to put a lot of extra work in, you would definitely learn a lot more. I feel empowered to try new things and I can confidently say that I know Python. It's directly related to the work I do, as I work at a software company and I am middle level so I feel like this skill will help me figure out where I want to go in this industry and having a background in testing is a great thing to have.

Your life will be nonexistent for 6 weeks but it is a worth it. Is there enough support from Careerist instruction? In my case, yes. But take that with a grain of salt. I happened to be in a cohort which started out with ~11 students, but by the end there were only 7 of us (Again, don't underestimate the difficulty) with 2 instructors and a TA so I had ample support. My instructors were so knowledgeable and could solve any testing problem it seemed. I lucked out with quality instructors. The quality of instruction can vary based on your cohort. We had TA sessions I think 3 times a week where our TA would help you finish any assignment you were stuck on. Since there were so few of us we really got tailored support.

Overall great course, happy with the outcome. The staff is very helpful, the instructor and assistants we had were available and flexible with all students, which was key because sometimes work and life got in the way. The course consists of the core skills needed in testing, Tableau and SQL that are needed in testing. The units were taught well, it can feel a little quick but as long as you are willing to put in the time then all is good. If I have to say one negative thing about the course it would be the fact that it does not include enough about the use of Python in software testing since some employers ask for this skill. However, I knew this before selecting the course and given the length of the course it is not something I would signal as a major criticism at all. Overall, happy and would recommend.

My experience with the Manual QA course was great and it is a good decision for anyone looking to get a great understanding of software testing or if you are interested in taking the software testing career track. It gets into the weeds of software testing just enough to not scare you away but enough to give you the ability to understand what testers do.

Careerist offers the right training and mentorship to hone your technical and interpersonal skills. Working with them certainly boosted my self-confidence, increased my resume's visibility and a chance to land an interview. I would like to recommend this hands-on training to everyone who is interested in making a career in IT. It is such a good opportunity to build and develop job skills. My Careerist experience with IT career track was very positive and provided me with a very useful skillset. The curriculum is very good, though it would not hurt to include a bit more of tools. By far the most useful portion to me was the support and insight provided by the mentor program. This is one of the main reasons I chose this school over others and I was not disappointed.

I graduated from Manual QA course at Careerist. I can confidently say that this program has built carefully designed to give a very comprehensive introduction to software testing skills and techniques, as well as the professional skills needed for anyone thinking of transitioning into a new career. Using concepts learned throughout the coursework coupled with great support from my mentors and counselors, I was able to learn about many aspects of software testing.

I really had a good experience with Careerist and I have learned so much and found the course one of the best technical courses I have attended. Even with a deep knowledge of IT, I had no clue about the process of testing and it was very easy for me to talk with my mentor, which made me more comfortable with asking for feedback.

To the point, a lot of information delivered well in such a period. The tutor used a good blend of theory and practical activities relating to software testing. I would recommend this school to everyone.
