So far our experience of finding a full-time nanny has been pretty good. However, a few months ago I was looking for a night nanny/doula, and your search parameters, in particular around availability, were not helpful.
Care.com has a completely predatory billing system. I signed up with them and unwittingly paid for 12 months of services I did not use. Companies with similar subscription models often will rebate unused time, when they can see a profile is not used or an ad is not placed. Instead I got a totally uncaring email from care.com saying we say we are a subscription too bad so sad. You simply don't care, and your customer service response is disappointing. $600 down the drain.
From an earlier time I found a GREAT care giver and she is now injured and can't come for about 3 more months. Hopefully I can find another one who is just as good as she was. Hope she can come back when she is recovered enough to care for my mother..
Very easy to navigate and questions helped me think about the right person to assist my dad.
I just sign up for a membership, I'm anxious to see what type of applicants I receive.

I was nervous about being a member but you made it very easy and calmed my worries. We live in Corolla which is a distance from almost every where. I was surprised to see candidates within a reasonable driving distance. I hope this works out. I decided to do a one month trial subscription.

Easey to navigate. Just wish that there's an option to go back when you're filling out information about your loved one. Or give users the ability to choose "maybe" days. So for instance, I may need someone to help with care maybe two to three days a week.
