Don't waste your time. Cribbage, Backgammon,Canasta,Farkle just to name a few, all run algorithms to keep you from winning. Canasta, hum AAJ, or A2, melds first time, if not canasta first round, 9 out of 10 times takes the pile, you're ready to go out, 4 more melds than the computer, all of a sudden it has more melds than you, only cards left in your hand they have melded... Cribbage, you can never keep up, it always out scores you 4 to 1, backgammon, always jumps you if you leave yourself open, it never leaves its self open, I can keep going with the rest of their crooked games. Find another site.
I just played six games of this company's online Cribbage and got blown out every game. These games are rigged. Your opponent always has the perfect cards or draws the perfect cards. Your opponent frequently draws four of a kind, double-double runs, or multiple fives. No one has or draws the perfect cards like your opponent. I consider myself an above average Cribbage player and I don't expect to get blown out every game. Please don't play or endorse this company's online card games.
Try playing a Yahtze game. In four hands the dealer deals himself five sixes, a full house, five sixes, and a five hand straight. Seriously?!?!? I write to the programmer and he says the cards are dealt randomly. I tell him no one deals themselves four great hands in a row and he tells me to play on a different website if I'm not happy. Nice customer relations. My advice: Don't play on this website and inform your friends that these games are rigged and a cheat!
Look at Canasta. When you get above 1500, how is it the opponents always seem to meld first round, more or less get Canasta first round? Constantly get 3 or 4 red 3's every hand. Always have melded, your throw off cards. Backgammon. Always 99% of the time, starts first. Their shakes allow them to 98% of the time, leave them stacked so you can't jump them. 98% of the time, when you're vulnerable, just always happens to roll the number to jump you. Cribbage? They outscore you 3 to 4 times the points every hand. It's not cheating. Then it must have a horseshoe up its $#*!.
Tried to play chess on this site, had the opposing king trapped by a rook and a queen, game ended as "stalemate" like the game was made to give anything other than checkmate just to claim you didnt win
chess.com is full of cheaters
Lichess cant program difficulty settings right
And now cardgames.io cant define a checkmate...
Where exactly do i get an actual game of online chess?
I was just up 25+ late in two games of cribbage and ended up losing because the computer miraculously gets 23, then 24 points. It happens all the time!
What a joke! The computer always gets the most perfect cards, most perfect hands, at the perfect time. App used to be fun. Once you see it's rigged, it sucks!
The programmers suck $#*! at their job, this is why they have no clue how to program the AI to have winning strategies. To compensate for their stupidity, laziness and incompetence, they blatently cheat the draws to allow their $#*!ty AI to win more often.
I enjoy playing on this site often - I play Hearts, Crazy 8's, Solitaire, Golf, Freecell, Euchre, and Spades - Recently, on my IPad, I am hearing loud drums playing. Is the creator of the CardGames.io doing this? It is a little irritating - I just turn the sound down, though. Overall, I really like this App. And all the card games on it.
This is my second time saying I'm really getting disappointed with CardGames.io! It's like after winning a few games the game just finds a way to ruin my day. I'm trying to win 7 games in a row. But just now after winning 5 games I just had the farkle game betray me once again! What's amazing is just how bad this game is! I mean giving Bill the ability to score over 6000 points in a game is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS! This game is getting DISGUSTING! I'm just being REAL!
Once you have played a number of games you will very quickly realise it is rigged in favour of 'Bill' who gets unbelievable hands whenever you start winning. Lost count of the times he gets 12+ points in hand AND crib.
Not realistic.
The people leaving the one star reviews make me laugh. They are bad at cribbage and keep losing and then claim the game is rigged. I win the majority of the time. It is not rigged. My only complaint is that some games become a little too easy because the opponents are very predictable. Otherwise, a great site and app!
Not a good site I play it a lot but recently decided to keep score in cribbage 32 games Bill 15 for me. I remember reading Bill wins around 35% it's the other way around. Just too may times the amazing Bill pulls off improbable run of high scoring cribs like 12,14 18 and I'm getting 2 4 or the odd 8. No balance
Some people claim it is "rigged", I state they don't understand the games.
Yes, here and there your teammate would makes unlogical decisions, so take this into account and see it as an additional dimension.
However 85% of the games work perfect and given the variety of games we shouldn't complain but enjoy free card games.
I don't remember how I found this site but I continually return to play Gin (which I've never played for real) and have learned a bit of how the game is supposed to go.
That's mainly why I ended up sticking around. Initially I lost quite a few Gin games to Bill, but after a bit I started to get a little smarter. It was easier than trying to learn the game by reading dry wikis or other sites trying to explain how to play. I also love their solitaire collection and the War card game. It's very well set up.
I think the owner is doing a great job at keeping the site updated and fun to play. I believe he is in the Netherlands and made the site up for fun.
Im a beginner and I play on chess.com, chess3d and a bunch of other sites. I win against the beginner bots and lose against the medium difficulty bots. Exactly what you'd expect. But I always lose against bill jr, who is supposed to be easy, yet I often win against Bill sr, the medium bot. Just a really bad engine by a bunch of unskilled programmers.
CardGames is great. Easy to navigate, no fees, If you want to learn how to play games better or play new games this is a great site. No annoying commercials. This site has cards games, board games and instructions on how to play. Love it!
I play Rummy. When it's 2 or 4 players, "Bill" always wins. When it's 3 players, I think his name is "Mike" wins. First off, they put down almost an entire hand, conveniently runs of 3 or 4, before you even have your first turn. Second, you can't pick from the pile aside from the top card, so you see the card you need pass you by, and you have to forget any run or set you're trying to play. Third, "Bill" or "Mike" always play sets of 3 in 7s or 8s, so that messes your possibility of playing runs even more so. I gave it a try, but I'm not going to keep getting frustrated because the computer wins by 100 before I even have a turn!
Looking for a free website to play cards, and other games. Look no further than cardgames.io. And this year, 2020, they have added a multiplayer feature where you can play with friends or strangers. I am so thankful for this website, and I play games almost every day.
This card game site is so much fun. I'm addicted to spider solitaire but enjoy others too. You can play against the machine or other people. Check it out!
Often I can call out the cards "Bill" will play no matter the circumstances or what is on the board, as long as it brings him a 15,31, or 3 of a kind or straight &c. "Bill" ALWAYS has a five as well, especially when the cut card is a 10 or face. Thumbs Down City. I'm not a Cribbage expert but good grief.
After having played at least thirty games of cribbage on this site, I was unable to win more than one. I'm not some kind of cribbage newbie. I'm not amazing, but I have been playing for several years. This game will let you get ahead a little bit in the beginning, but will get a series of improbably convenient pegging cards, followed by a ridiculous crib. Or it lets you stay ahead until the end, then gets a 20+ point hand and instantly wins the game. It's just too convenient, and doesn't match the win/lose ratio I have against real people. I can't really speak for any of the other games, but the AIs in pinochle are also a bit too lucky, which combined with the idiocy of your partner bot, makes the game unwinnable.
Answer: The game(s) are only as good as the people who programmed them. When playing crib it's amazing how many times Bill gets his cut hm...
