Nasty company to deal with if there is a problem with your order. Ordered 2 JBL Charge 3 batteries and was shipped 2 JBL Charge 2 batteries. A person named Michelle argued I ordered the wrong Charge 3 batteries and won't refund my full amount for Her companies mistake. They won't refund the shipping. They charge 15% restocking fee. $7.50 repackaging fee. I am expected to pay return postage etc. Nice way to make a profit for Canadian Batteries shipping wrong products to people. Filled Mastercard dispute as Michelle won't admit mistakes. Horrible company to deal with.

mike o. – Canadian Batteries Rep

Hi Sean,

Many thanks for the photo. I have looked at this in detail and after reviewing the information as found on your original Greatpower battery

Model # GSP1029102A I find that it does not match the battery you ordered which is our model # CS-JML310SL. This battery replaces GSP1029102R
Your battery # is GSP1029102A which is in the same format as our model CS-JML330SL. This does have the longer cable and the different plug and lists your battery # Gsp1029102a as a direct replacement for your model.
See below link to the webpage

https://www.canadianbatteries.com/battery-for-jbl-charge-37v-6000mah-2220wh-p-15269.html
We do state that it is very important on this model to check that the battery number matches the information as provided on the product page.

Quote on our product page:-

DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU HAVE REMOVED YOUR ORIGINAL BATTERY AND COMPARED THE DETAILS ON YOUR BATTERY WITH THE INFORMATION BELOW. MULTIPLE VERSIONS THAT ARE DIFFERENT HAVE BEEN FOUND TO BE INSTALLED IN THIS PRODUCT BY THE MANUFACTURER AND THE ONLY WAY TO CONFIRM THE CORRECT BATTERY IS TO REMOVE THE BATTERY FIRST BEFORE ORDERING.

You are welcome to raise a return request and send the batteries back to us for a refund. Details on how to do this can be found at this link.

Verified purchase

I thought I'd save a few dollars by buying and installing my own battery replacement. It was difficult to find a match, but I did find one on CanadianBatteries.com, great! Ordered, it was delivered in a week and then I set to install it. Removing the old one was sticky, but it came out without a problem. I installed the new one with the help of a great YouTube video, and I was very happy with the installation. No power. Deadsville. Ok, let it charge? No go. Crap. Called a certified Apple repair shop and they investigated the problem. It turns out that the battery is causing a short circuit on the 3.3 V rail. They installed the battery into their test unit with the same problem. So now their logic board needs replacing, as well. Now it'll be $650 to install a proper Apple battery and a new logic board. A faulty battery is the culprit. I have not taken up this issue with CanadianBatteries.com, but I will. Beware of third-party Chinese manufactured batteries. The risk is not worth it.

Tip for consumers:
Be aware of their return policy.

Purchased the replacement battery for my still functioning but with reduced battery life, Blackberry Priv from canadianbatteries.com. Had the new battery changed at a reputable phone store. Upon installation of the new battery the phone went into re-boot mode then shut down permanently. Technician put back the original battery but still phone would not turn on. Tech tested the phone and determined the motherboard and some other components were fried.
Contacted canadianbatteries.com who explained to me that it was technician error and I could return the battery to determine if a refund would be offered. I promptly returned the battery via Canadapost Xpresspost with signature.
1 month later canadianbatteries.com emailed to say they never got the battery and would be closing the RA ticket. I replied with tracking from Canadapost showing it was delivered to them a month ago. After 3 more days they refunded the cost without any explanation of why they had said they never received it back.
So, happily I am only out transport costs both ways and the cost of a new phone.
Not sure if it was the replacement battery fault or the phones mother board was on the brink of dying and the battery change was what brought on it's untimely death, but either way I would be hesitant to do business with canadianbatteries.com in the futur as there returns policy is very cumbersome with a multi page complex explanation of how to proceed, which I managed to decipher, only to be ignored for a month and then tested to see if I could provide proof of delivery. Through the whole process they were difficult to communicate with, slow to answer and un-sympathetic to my phone getting fried in the process of installing there battery. Next time back to Amazon where my few returns have always been undisputed and effecient.

Don't buy. All batteries are Chinese knock-offs that don't charge to 100% and don't deliver the same quality as OEM. Support department are bullies and don't care for customer and that they sold the defective product. Never again with this monkey-business company.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this seller.

Very bad experiences, wrong item, and very low quality. Not recommended to waste the money for this garbage. I ordered through the laptop model number and they sent wrong items because the battery wasn't available for shipping.

This was submitted to Canadian Batteries website:
I doubt this review will be be displayed on the website, given the ordeal I was subject to. While the website information led me to what seemed the correct Dyson vacuum replacement battery, upon receipt it was the wrong one. So, the ordeal began with needing "permission" to return it. Then paying for the return registered postage, then waiting for a refund, then getting charged a further 15% for some "restocking charge". For a battery that cost $65 plus $10.25 HST, shipping of $16.90, return shipping of $20.72, plus a 15% restocking charge, I received $59.90 refund for overall costs of $112.87!... Buyer Beware!

Tip for consumers:
Buyer Beware. Shipping's costs are pricey and the return policy is brutally costly

I purchased a battery specifically for my DELL XPS 15 9560 as it claimed on website but it did not work. Now i am out of town due to Christmas holidays and won't be able to return for refund within a month but they are not extending the time period, not supportive at all. Family run business.
EDIT: Battery was faulty, initially agreed to return it after 30 days due to my traveling, but then refused.

Posted incorrect battery compatibility online. Makes you pay for their mistake to get a refund. Better off buying from Chinese store.
