I had a few items I wanted to get rid of before moving to another city. It had to be done fast, so I searched for some local online classifieds. I came across buysellusedstuff.com during my search on the first page. I thought I will start the process of posting an ad and see if it easy enough to post it or if it requires some complex registration process. To my surprise, it was pretty easy to post my ads and uploading pictures of all my items. After posting my ads, I started getting responses from interested people. I set up the pick up times. Of course, some of them were no shows, but eventually I was able to get rid of 3 of my items out of 7 items. Others, I was able to sell on other classifieds as well as few of my friends were able to take some. So, all in all, the results were not that bad. For those who like to sell on online classifieds, make sure to differentiate between the scam replies and genuine replies. Someone who is genuine and local will always ask to meet and see the item first, whereas a scammer would pretend to be traveling and ask you to ship the items.
