I used this card for travelling to europe for 50 days.
We were a group of30 people using different cards. Buyforex was the only company to provide hassle free reload, free withdrawals from ATM's and timely and clear cut timely information. Even the cash delivered was prompt and done in short timeline.

Also not to mention that it gives the best exchange rates, which is very closed to currrency exchange market rates

All my friends used my card as no other bank provide such service in india, to the extent that 6-7 people threw away their SBI/HDFC/ other bank cards an kept on reloading my ard only. ( yes the reload process can be done online, from anyone's account!)

Thecompany is really really customer focused

While my experience of buying forex and offered rate was good, there was no response to customer query which i placed while travelling abroad. Further, it was told that there will be no charge in withdrawing currency abroad however they did not take any responsibility when charge was deducted on cash withdrawal.It is difficult to comment if it was mis selling or they them selves were ignorant of the charge which foreign banks charge on cash withdrawal. Had buyforex people had not given me assurance that no charge would be deducted, i wouldn't have easily avoided withdrawing any cash.

On returning to India, i called buyforex people and they told me to drop a mail, however after getting a negative response to my mail, i left the issue there itself.

The buying experience was very good for the following reasons:
1. Competitive rate
2. Simple interface
3. Reasonably quick delivery
There were a few points of dissatisfaction during usage though (in ascending order of irritation):
1. I was informed that this is going to be a multi-currency card but what I received was single currency (not a deal breaker for my last trip but wrong info nevertheless)
2. Some establishments did not accept the card and I had to pay in cash
3. I tried several ATMs in Canada and none of them were equipped to show me my balance. The option just wasn't there
4. I asked and was told I can reload using netbanking but after I received the card I found that reload requires filling up and signing a form and submitting it here in India. I can only do that if I prepare the application in advance and keep it with a friend to submit in case I need more money.

5. When I had to encash the balance on the card after my trip, I had to go to their office to collect a cheque. (BTW, I had to compulsorily encash the balance when they changed their vendor from HDFC to a Tata entity.)
I do hope all these problems have been fixed now because I need to buy a forex card again.

I have ordered more than 5000 euro and have used their Forex (HDFC) care around Europe with no issues.
I ran out of funds while abroad and they reloaded my card within 14hrs.
Also for some reason I wanted to collect my card on Sunday and they were considered enough to do it even though banks were closed.
Much appreciated. Will continue to do any future foreign exchange.
