It has morphed from a nice program into a slick one; very time-wasting and disappointing. Phone calls to customer service just bring avoidance tactics and are a waste of time.
This rewards program is horrible. You only get rewards for treatments, not for the amount you purchase. Then they deny you points if you get a treatment before 91 days, but if you need that treatment by the end of the year to get to your reward level too bad. A fair program is based on how much you purchase. The people at customer service say the varying prices that are charged makes it not fair to base it on dollars spent. How about basing it on a combination of treatments and units purchased? Now that would be fair for everyone!
I have been using BD a program for a couple years. Used to I could get my points issues within about 3 to 5 minutes. Now it's routinely taking I 25 to 40 minutes. Add this company needs to correct this. This is totally ridiculous.
It used to be that you got credit for every 200.00 spent (20 for 200; 40 for 400; etc) and it was an awesome deal! Then it got really crappy. Then you only got 20.00 per month even if you spent 600.00- you would get the same reward as the person who spent 200! Also, if you came back in the same month and spent another 200 you got NOTHING because they would only allow you to get 20.00 per month.
Fast forward and it gets WORSE. I just got totally cheated out of more points I recently discovered. Now you can only get your measly points every 3 months and then they expire in 9 months- so I ask you: how the heck are you really getting anything out of this?
Plus, they don't let you get any points even if you use another product like Latisse- yep cheated there too cuz I got Botox! Wow I almost want to use Dysport just to not support their crappy program!
Anyone know of a competitor for Latisse? I will switch there too.
Brilliant Distinctions has been easy to submit cosmetic procedures for years, now I have tried twice and they keep saying it is not acceptable? The receipt is from the Dr. that I saw for my procedures, what else do you want? There isn't' any other receipts given to patients
What a waste of time
I've never had an issue redeeming my brilliant distinctions points or my year of brilliance rewards. It was clear to me from the beginning. You get two $100 certificates every 3 months for a year. (That's $800 worth and you only pay $200). You have to use them within that 3 month cycle and those cannot be combined together BUT they CAN be combined with regular brilliant distinctions points. If you get Botox and a product on the same day, you can still use both rewards on that day for each separate product. I've used them for Botox, juvederm, and latisse throughout the year. Saved me a ton of money PLUS you get points from every purchase even if paying with a reward. Not a scam. Just read the print.
I never hesitate to book my appointments because with BD they're always on sale! I've had to reach out to them before and easy peasy they addressed my concerns. I would love another year of Brilliance- I guess it's no longer being offered. I'm a customer for life- even though there's new stuff on the market that supposedly lasts longer... BD/ Allergen has my loyalty because they take care of me every single time I go to the cash register!
I signed up for Year of Brilliance and have saved a ton! Each quarter I apply $100 towards Botox and $100 towards my skinmedica products. Ive used it for 3 quarters now and saved $600, not bad for $200 investment. I also earn more points on the purchases, great program.
Any body confirm
All you get is 20 dollars (200 "points") whether you spend 200 or 400 on a Botox treatment session?
And you only get credit once every three months?
And the points expire after a time period like 6 or 9 months?
What if you earn the point with Doctor A in July. But want to use the point with a different Doctor B 4 months later? Can you transfer the points.
I signed up for brilliant distinctions and now I get coupons every few months for botox and juvederm. It seems like it is just spam, but the coupons have saved me several hundred dollars over the past year. What I don't like is how complicated it is to actually redeem the points and the coupon. Even my doctors office is confused and they can't even access my account. When I see my doctor to redeem the points, they can't log in and get me my coupon. It is a very disconnected system and very confusing. Plus you cannot use the coupons for other fillers like restylane because they are not made by botox. You are stuck only getting coupons for very specific products.
This promotion paid for itself on my first quarterly visit. I have scheduled my next visit in three months and plan to credit another $200. I have also accumulated cash points and received an Allergan facial product gift. However, my provider, RNP, promotes this program and does all the conversion for me. Excellent. I love to save time and money!
This program is such a scam just like everyone else has said and their customer service team is just as clueless. Ive already deactivated my account. You can only use points every three months no matter how often you go and they put a million regulations on products but swear they are offering you a wonderful program. Specifically their customer service reps Tabatha and Donna are extremely clueless and continue to give you the run arounds about expired coupons and being unable to use points after theyve just told you, you could. Dont use allergen products period. If enough people walk away from this program theyll eventually have to fix their flaws. Save yourselves and your money ladies.
Impossible to sign into my account. Advertise $10 reward per $100 spent but they give half of that.
