Ordered spark plugs that said qty of 4. Only came with one. After talking to costumer service, they said that has been a major complaint. Asked why it did not state that in the description, she could not give an answer. It wasn't stated in the description because they have been taking advantage of people because they know most people won't go through the hassle of sending them back. Not a very good business decision.

I don't really understand why you can accept an address, which is valid, yet have it returned because it is invalid, according to the shipping agent. Just because the house or suite number was put before the road address it was deemed invalid. Yet it was shipped from your warehouse, it went goodness knows where and then returned. Anyone with an ounce of sense would have been able to find that address. I then had to fight to get the freight charge returned, that seemed very unfair. Now the parts won't get here until after my guests leave ( as it is being shipped to the Bahamas) and they will miss some fun on the water.

While mary of their orders arrived without drama... Small items are often shipped UPS that gets transferred in route to the US post office, And in plastic envelopes that could be mistaken for garbage on the floor of a delivery truck. While I understand the need to reduce shipping costs, they're doing so at the expense of the item arriving at its destination. I've been waiting almost ten days for o-rings that were likely shipped in a cheap plastic bag that didn't survive the shipping process. They made it to my state then were sent back to the state of origin which tells me their cheap plastic bag Has a damaged label or a typo in the tracking number.

On Apr 23 I ordered a throttle cable that was expedited delivery and it was shipped within 12hrs…perfect! I realized less than 24hrs later that I needed another throttle cable so placed the order, again for expedited delivery…it's now 3 days later and the cable seems to be stuck waiting for USPS to pick it up. I'm puzzled that it was handled differently when I paid the extra money for expediting when it was ordered so soon after the first order. It's really disappointing as it was really time sensitive: (

My last two purchases did not charge as PayPal pay in 4 like I selected at checkout. I even set it up on PayPal, but upon checkout, the full amount drafted. I contacted PayPal, and PayPal indicated this was the fault of the merchant. Please fix this issue

The order was shipped BY Postal to my name and city (no street address) and bounced around for weeks. I was told to reorder which I did and they would refund my money when it was returned. After not hearing anything for weeks I called back and was told that the Post Office notified that it was being returned to then and they would then refund my money. More time passes and in another contact (email) I was told that when it was returned they sent it out again. Still waiting at which time it shows up if ever I will have to pay to return it to them. As Sienfeld would say "good at taking orders, not so good at fulfilling them". I have had good luck in the past with finding what I want at a good price for my Yamaha boat and motorcycle. One bad experience that has been going on for way too long.

The shipping was messed up and then when I opened the package the gasket had been folded to fit in the box. You don't fold gaskets. That's what causes leaks.

The description was cap/decal. The original part had the Mercury logo on it. The replacement part didn't have the decal but was printed with "THROTTLE ONLY". It also doesn't look like it will fit, but I can't check because the package says "NOT RETURNABLE IF OPENED".

I've purchased quite a few parts from them over the years. The site is pretty easy to navigate but they can be painfully slow to ship and don't have many of the items in stock. Often times once you place the order, you'll get updates stating the arrival of the item they don't have keeps getting pushed back. Not really what you want to hear when you want to get the repair done so you can get back on the water. If you email customer service about it, their response is usually not filled with care or concern. Next time I think I'll look elsewhere.

I ordered a 4 pack of spark plugs and they sent me 1. I called and they told me they list it as a 4 pack on their website and on the invoice because that is how they receive them. Nowhere does it state that it is 1 spark plug. They offered a slightly lower price to purchase the other plugs or a refund. I chose a refund since I can order the plugs anywhere else for less and I don't want to do business with a rude company.
Update: They did refund me the entire amount and didn't want me to ship back the one spark plug. Also they updated their listing to not include the words 4 pack. I am still out a week of fishing while I wait for new spark plugs to show up.

Tip for consumers:
Call them and wait on hold for 20 minutes yo confirm the part and quantity for every single item.

I placed a small order ( less than $100.00) last September and it took until almost November to receive. I informed them I lived in Ontario Canada and my boat was in New Brunswick Canada and would not be able to try the parts until this summer. When I tried the ignition key it did not work, turns out they shipped the wrong key and now tell me I would have to buy another key and only offered a small discount on shipping. Losing a customer over a $18.00 part that they screwed up on in the first place.

I ordered some stuff from them on Saturday evening. On Sunday I thought of something else and emailed to add it to my current order to avoid any delay and shipment charges. I got the response that now the order is packed and we cant process your request. Ok. Its Monday night and the ordered hasnt been shipped yet? And yes, I paid extra for expedited shipping. Come on! And your prices were not the best either by the way!

Web site is easy to use. Part now expected to be delivered 7+ days after order. Quickly found the part I wanted. I needed the part quickly so I paid for expedited shipping. After 1 day, no change in status of my order online. After 2 days, no change in status. After 3 days, no change in status. I called them on the 4th day and they said it was "going out today". On the 5th day their was no status change online. I called them and they said, "The order was stuck". Stuck? I told them I needed 1 of the 5 parts I ordered immediately. It weighed 1.5 pounds. I agreed to pay $45 to get the 1 part sent overnight. I could wait on the other parts via UPS ground. Well, just what showed up via overnight delivery... 2 of the parts I don't need. Guess what was not delivered overnight. The part I need! Oh well, I guess I won't be taking my boat on this vacation. This could have been avoided. Very disappointing.

Understand real delivery times if you are in a hurry.

Parts are good but shipping very slow. Price not set up for a boat repair shop. I have been a shop owner for over 20 years and still pay the same price as the public. This is a hard way to do business.

Well, first I ordered parts that according to the website were all in stock. Then got an e-mail saying it would 7 days until one part was available, so I waited an extra week. Then the order sat at BOATS.NET for an additional 8 days before it was shipped. It's been over three weeks and I still don't have the parts. Sent two e-mails, none were returned. So I wait, but I will never use them again! BTW, I found all the parts IN STOCK and cheaper with faster shipping on a different website.

Did not receive tracking information either. So i don't know where package is at. I Won't be doing business with this company again. Buyers beware.

The manager that I spoke to yesterday would not help me get an order that was 11 days past and still wasn't shipped due to back ordered part. He told me it was at the warehouse and he couldn't due anything to help. He wouldn't call on my behalf and expedite my long over due order. I explained that my customer was mad and about to take the repair somewhere else. He didn't care. At the end of conversation of me pleading for some help, he said to me " if I see your order around I will try to get it going." Just wow! If you research my purchase history you can see it's extensive. If I lose this customer over this you will lose a customer! I have been paying for expedited packages, but there is no hurry on your behalf. But if I don't pay the expedited shipping they hold the order up even longer. Your shipping department has gone down hill in the last 6 months. SIM Yamaha is looking better every day!

I ordered the part on the 14th and paid for 1-3 shipping. It's currently the 22nd and the order is still being processed. I could have drove from pa to ga and got the part myself in this amount of time!
