I placed an order and this is what the website stated that I ordered.
"******* TOHATSU PREMIUM TCW3 OIL (4-GALLONS)-SHIPPING WEIGHT 29 LBS. (Tohatsu) $110.12"
When I received the box I could tell it was small. I opened it up and there was only 1 gallon of oil in it. I called customer service and they said "That is the description that Tohatsu provides because that is how they ship it to us. However, we only sell it in 1 gallon increments." I told them "That is not what the description is. The description states that I get 4 gallons and that the shipping weight is 29 pounds." They said "We know we have asked Tohatsu to remove this language but they won't" When I asked what they could do for me they said I could return the product but they wouldn't refund shipping. Such a complete scam. They could add the language themselves stating that you will only get 1 gallon of oil!

This is a known issue and we are working on resolving it. The issue you’ve come across here is that as a certified dealer we sell almost every OEM product Tohatsu offers dealer-direct. (It comes right from us.) To list all those products for sale, we receive a product feed directly from Tohatsu that lists all the products they carry. As the care agent was explaining, some items show a bulk quantity as they come in through the feed. Since we sell 1.5 million unique OEM parts dealer-direct it can be like finding the worlds tiniest needle in a haystack to find these description anomalies.
I assure you our intention is not to mislead anyone. We very much appreciate that you’ve brought this to our attention so that we can work on getting the description updated manually on the website. Hope to hear from you via direct message so we can make this miscommunication right.

My out board was overheating and I got the parts I needed.
I ordered a part and had it shipped FedEx ground then I got an e-mail about 5 days later that still didn't show that it was shipped. So I called to ask why and the person on the phone said they just got the part and were going to ship it that day. Well I needed the part now so I told him that I wanted him to ship it 2-day express. He then added the charges for 2-day express to my bill. Well 7days later when the part still wasn't there I called to ask why and they said that it was shipped ground instead. So then I wanted to get refunded for the extra shipping charge and he said he would have to get the manager, well he just forwarded me to a phone with a recording. So I called him back and said I want to talk to someone and he said he'll get me the managers direct extension but when it rang I just got the same recording. I know this sounds trivial but I could tell from the first time I called that the guy answering was just a jerk and was doing all of this on purpose. I also don't think that he needed to get his manager to refund the shipping charges. I was sure when I changed shipping that he was going to send it ground just by the sarcasm in his voice. This is NOT a professional or customer friendly Site!

Placed the order with boats.net cost $700 total 36 parts. They send me two shipments, First shipment motor and 9 small parts with packaging slip showing e4verything else on back order 5 LB. In couple days received second shipment also 5 LB in the shipment one motor no packaging slip that's all. I thought, well rest of the parts are still on the backorder. Called them about week later and ask them where is rest of my order and I have been told that all of the other parts were in second shipment. After arguing with this person, which he sound like new, had absolutely no idea what he is talking about, was promised they will send the replacement. The cost of the missing parts was $164. Waited couple days, never received anything. Called in again spoke with manager Kris rudest person ever and been informed that he decline the replacement or any refund for my order. I have been told they have a 48 hour policy, if there is something missing in the packing I need to let them know in 48 hours, which I didn't of course because there was no slip inside the second shipment so I was still assuming all the parts are on backorder. I had to open a dispute on PayPal, waiting result. This is what this person Kris calling him self manager posted on my PayPal. (The package weights per UPS website are also verified at 4.8lbs and 4.9lbs, according to part weights this verifies all parts were shipped.)
Please if you order from this company and there would be some issue with your order, nobody is going to help you and you will loose you money!

Ordered 3 different items. When items where placed into cart. 1 item stated in stock and available. 2nd item stated 2 to 3 days and 3rd item stated 2 to 3 days.
After trying calling the customer help lines around 200pm they were shutdown do to the volume of calls. And stated to call at 800am. The next day they were moving to a new warehouse. Attempted to use the on line customer chat. Shutdown. After calling at 830am again to the following day and waiting 3 hour for a customer service representative. I was able to found out what the status of my order. Representative stated that they were moving to a larger warehouse and that they would have better control on the item stock. No items were available and not sure when they would ship. At that time I canceled the order. Now today is July 13t and I place the order on July 8th. Representative stated the refund will take 8 to 10 day. The first and last time I will use this company.
