We moved into new build home with no window coverings, so I was on the search for window treatments for most the windows in my home. I searched/got estimates from both local and online businesses. I stumbled across a blog that mentioned they used Blindster for their window coverings and it was stated that she was pleased with this company and that they had great prices. I did a bit of my own research and eventually decided to give this company a try. The first room I ordered for was our master bedroom. I ordered Roman blinds. I was very pleased with the amount of options and fabrics they had to choose from and their prices were very reasonable. I pulled the trigger and order 4 blackout Roman shades which I am pleased with. Since then I have ordered window coverings for my entire house, a combination of Roman and solar shades. The quality is great, even compared to local window treatment companies who are much more pricey. What truly sets this company apart is their customer service, it's top notch and I truly appreciate this! They are prompt, helpful and deliver on their promises. I am now a loyal customer and tell all my friends and family about them. During my process to obtain window treatments there were a few delays and a broken shade but Blindster makes it right for their customers. I'm thrilled I found them! Thank you Blindster for your products and commitment to quality customer service.

A small plastic part broke off. Maybe worth $2.00 Factory solution was buy a whole new blind. Now I'm stuck with blind that doesn't work!

First, the motorized shades are great, seem well built and work well. The downside is that Blindster has no way to automate them! No app, no third party product... nothing. This is so 1990!. Ok, so without automation, these seem nice, but dated. Can we have some app that can be integrated with Google Home or Alexa?

This company did not deliver our blinds. We disputed the charge with our credit card company. They finally reached out to us, and claimed it was a UPS error, and asked us to remove the dispute since this was bad for their credit. They promised to issue a refund check. We were nice and cooperated to help them out, removing the dispute. They never sent the promised check. It's been a month, and they claim it was mailed. Although the check was never cashed and never received, today they told me that the supervisor will not reissue it. *** UPDATE: The accounting department received the return check in the mail and called me to confirm my address. They forwarded the check to me. So although it took A LOT of effort, and time, in the end, I wasn't out any cash. So I'm raising my review to 3 stars.

The blinds do fit and look great; however, they were dented when they arrived. We used pliers to fix the dent and put them up anyway since the cover on the top would not show the dents. I believe this was a shipping issue more than anything.

If you are looking for cheap blinds, this site pretty much had the cheapest ones out there, especially when they have one of their frequent promotions. Unfortunately, this is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for." The actual blinds are flimsy and feel cheap, the size is just a little off, so it lets in too much light. The rod has to go on under this plastic tube which is completely inflexible, so we had to cut it off and improvise. The magnetic trim isn't long enough to cover the brackets.

From a distance they look decent, so we aren't going to go through the hassle of returning them, and again, they are cheap, but if you want something that is high quality, you won't find it here.

I submitted my sizes on both blinds as 34 and 5/8". The actual size received is
34" on both. This leaves quite a lot of light in on both sides of blinds. Being custom made an ideal size would be 34 and 1/4". My wife is disappointed that

I'm sorry your blinds didn't come as expected.
We recommend that you use the window opening width (smallest of the width measurements at the top, middle & bottom of the window) when ordering inside mount blinds. All factories that make window coverings for us (and all factories that I am aware of in the United States) take a width deduction when making blinds/shades to be mounted inside the window. For horizontal blinds the normal deduction is 1/2 inch.

The blinds came in an array of sizes despite ordering only two sizes. I was able to get new ones shipped out, but it is frustrating that despite my correct measuring, the blinds came in the wrong size. It worked out in the end. I would probably order from here again.

All three came with just seven mounting screws instead of the eight that are designed. There were no mounting clips for the side valance pieces

I'm sorry you had missing parts on your order!
The brackets for this product are actually designed to only need 2 screws. The additional holes are so that you can position the screws in a variety of way depending on your particular window.
The returns (side valance pieces) are attached with a L clip that fits in the channel on the back of the valance. I'm sorry these were missing and will get them sent out right away.

I've ordered blinds 2 times and each time I had to contact them because they claim orders go out 5 to 7 days after approved for production but both times I contacted them 2 weeks after they were sent to production and then all of a sudden they ship that day

I'm sorry you haven't gotten the delivery you expected. I may not have the correct order number for this review. This order was produced in 3 business days (placed on 6/21, sent to the factory on 6/22 and shipped on 6/27). Shipping time was 4 business days with delivery on 7/1.

This reveiw is only of the service received so far... Haven't received the blind to review its quality.
I contacted Blindster on June 1,5 days after I expected the blind to arrive. Only then did they inform me the material was on back order, due to arrive at factory in 9 days. My blind would be made immediately and shipped, I was told. I wasn't troubled by the out of stock back order so much as that Blindster did not contact me OR update my order status. NOTE: On first post I neglected to mention they gave me a 10% discount for the delay. That was appreciated.
June 21st: still no blind and no communication from Blindster via email or order status update... Called company... Yes fabric had arrived, but could not give me any information on my blind. Said I should try calling back in a few days. Called on June 24. Rep thought I'd receive shipping info on 6/27. We'll see if that happens.
Phone reps have always been polite and apologetic. If the company would have kept me informed with requiring me to initiate and call back for info, my rating would be higher.
UPDATE: 5:50pm 6/27: Received note from Blindster refunding an additional 20% due to additional delay and lack of communication. The refunds show the company is responsive and are enough for me to bump up my review to "Average." Will update again when product finally arrives...

Overall I was happy with the price but it took too long to arrive and it was partially damaged when it arrived. The damage didn't cause it to not work properly and the moulding like cover on the top which was actually nice did cover the damage so I didn't return it.

I purchased a house full of blinds. Several started to break as there's a flaw in the manufacturing. Blindster accommodated replacement of some of the blinds, but the product flaw on the new blinds is the same. They'll likely break again in 9-12 months.

I have placed two separate orders. The first one I have received and I really like the quality of the blinds. Both of the orders that I placed I received an email saying "it is rare but the material that I ordered is on backorder". I don't see it as rare since it has happened to me 2 out of 2 times.

About two weeks after I placed the order I was informed that the color chosen had been discontinued. Should this not have been known at the time the order was placed? I made an alternate choice and it took some time for them to go into production. That took quite a while. I received the merchandise and was disappointed to see the bottom slat was not slid into the grooves of the bottom rail, and once the blind is constructed it is too much trouble to take it apart to slide it in as it should be and then reconstruct it. Further, the bottom rail did not hang parallel to the slats. The cord was not fastened properly. I took care of that but didn't like having to do it. This is sloppy workmanship.

I'm so sorry you had a problem. There can sometimes be quite a lag between when a material is discontinued by the factory that makes the slats and when the factory that makes the blinds runs out of the color. I agree that you should have been better informed.

When the blinds arrived the brackets were the wrong size. New brackets were shipped and arrived about two weeks later. One set of blinds snapped right into place the other, not so much.

Product quality seems pretty good - order fulfillment process not so much. First got 3 out of 7 blinds, with no mounting hardware. After asking where rest of order was, was sent the remaining 4 blinds (with no explanation of what happened), but was still short mounting hardware for the first 3 blinds. After another e-mail, received mounting hardware. Never got the little cord ties for the 3 blinds, but not sure I have the energy to pursue this further.

Purchased the roman shades using one of the patterns offered. Since the pattern had a vertical and horizontal repeat, I called their customer service 2xs for a recommendation on the best style and was told the flat shade would be best. When I received the shades they looked like the fabric had been pieced together where the rods were sewn at the back completely distorting the pattern. The middle of one of the shades also sagged.
Blindster agreed to remake the shades with the soft fold style if I agreed to pay the additional amount for the style. I wanted the shades with this pattern since I had selected it to go with other elements in the room so I agreed. It took quite awhile to get the replacement shades, one still sags but I'm done with trying to make it right. Not sure I'll be ordering through them again.

It is hard to predict how some of the bolder patterns will look in the plain style of roman shade. I can certainly understand why you didn't like the way your pattern looked. Some customers are OK with the distorted look and some are not.
That is why it is our policy to offer the other styles when a customer is unhappy with the way a pattern looks in the plain style. The flat fold style is the most pure of the styles for bolder patterns because it leaves the pattern unchanged. However, with the flat fold style you can see the threads on the front of the shade where the stay (stiff piece attached to the back of the shade so that it will fold properly when raise) is attached to the shades. This thread will match the predominant color in the shade but it will be used in all places, even if the pattern color isn't the same where the stitch is made. I believe this is why you chose to get the soft fold.
The soft fold does not keep the pattern unchanged but it does allow the pattern to flow better and is less distorting. Unfortunately, there is an additional charge for this style because it uses more fabric. When this style is chosen for the remake we only charge for the option charge so that you pay the same price as you would have if you had ordered the original shades with this option.
The shades you have should not sag. I will call you right away to get this resolved. We take great care so that our customer's get the product that they want and that they are made properly. I apologize for all the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
