Most of my experience was excellent. I was able to order and review fabric samples. The ordering process for the shades themselves was very detailed and completely custom. Selection was very good. However, a mistake was made in the manufacture of my roller shades, I ordered "standard" roll shades, but I my shades were made with "reverse" roll. I reviewed the order to confirm and the mistake was inexplicable. Everything else was great, but this error made my experience unfortunate. I did not want to wait for a replacement order, so I installed them and I am less pleased than I would have been had my order been fulfilled exactly as I ordered. Reverse roll hides the chain pull from view when the shades are down which then makes access to the chain a bit awkward to raise them. One other thing to know is that the shades are shipped with 2" long screws. This is good for normal frame construction with wallboard and studs. In my case I was installing the shades on a screen porch that was built with 1 1/2" mahogany verticals. I needed 3/4" screws, since they would be coming from both sides in the exact same location. Fortunately, I do a lot of DIY work and I have a full selection of stainless steel screws on hand. Also, the hold down clips that attach to the bottom rail were very difficult to snap onto the bottom rail. I had to carefully use wide jaw, non-marking pliers to get them to clip onto the rail. Everything else about the process and the product was excellent. The shades look and operate great. I would not hesitate to order from Blinds Galore again despite the fulfillment error and the hold-down clip issue. I hope they have figured out how it happened and have adjusted their assembly and fulfillment process accordingly.

The blinds went up pretty easy. We did have a bit of difficulty "clicking" blind into the plastic holders, but it eventually clicked. I also wish the handles the blinds came with looked a little nicer. It doesn't seem like the handles can be adjusted once they are in place, so be aware of that. Other than that, they look nice and function as they said they would.
I researched several online blinds and this site was one of the better ones in my experience. Good description of the items, understandable instructions in ordering, and within our budget. The blinds came as expected, were easy to install, and look good! I will be ordering blinds for other windows in the near future.

I have not yet pulled the blinds from the box (too much to do when you move); however, the packing tape failed on 2 of the 3 boxes and the blinds could have easily fallen out. They need much stronger shipping tape and more of it on the boxes.
