I'm always careful and I wrote to the company in advance asking what is the return policy on a wrong item or damaged item I always ask. They stated that if it's wrong or damage they make you right but either issuing you another one but if you don't want another one you get your refund and they take it back They supply the label nobody should be paying for items that are damaged back that's not agreed on sure enough I order metal decor it comes busted all over I even went to my friend who does metal work and he said it would cost you an arm and to fix all this because it's heavy metal The company offers me $40 off what is that gonna do for me of the 17 corners that are busted and it was busted right in the middle there's nothing you could do with it they write to me we filed the claim got denied so you have to pay for shipping excuse me Also because your claim got denied filed I don't know or whatever you did that's my problem do not buy from this company they don't follow their policies at all so if you buy something and it's damaged you're gonna be stuck sending it back and paying it out of your pocket or use a credit card so you could do a dispute like I'm going to
And they say please ensure that our products come perfect and everything is great and if something is not right we care about making you happy I'm using my own words and we will make sure that everything is done correctly some words I'm making up but they did nothing of the sort they put everything on me And they want their product back damaged at my I don't think so I tried to upload more pictures but it wasn't letting me I had over 15 pictures
The right thing to do was to give me a label and take back to merchandise that's what you're supposed to do when you send out bad merchandise it should never fall on the customer sending an item back when it's damaged it's not that I didn't like it it was damaged Not to mention my brother ordered this even without my permission and I'm still allowing to go through this whole process taking care of it I told him to pick something out nice yeah I could see he picked a good company all right
And they're nice too so you think like you know they're out for your best interest and I was honest with them I said this didn't happen in transit this happened at the manufacture you should take it up with them so because you couldn't get it covered by whatever insurance you use now it falls on the customer Excuse you I said anywhere else do research from another company or you're gonna get screwed like I did
Companies that deal with shipping any type of item to a customer if it’s wrong or damaged anything besides the customer not liking it it should fall on the company because we should not be responsible for that because customers were no customer would buy from any website everybody knows if it’s damaged or wrong it’s on the company they filed their claim got denied and all turned it all on me
Nothing I didn’t get anything I told them that I’m not paying for the shipping back that’s not right and I’m not paying for it to be shipped back that’s not fair it’s damaged that’s on the companies responsibility
Today I received a console table that I had ordered from Bison Office Furniture. Specifically, it was: Console Table, Belen Kox, Product ID: ******* ($360.29). My review will be very honest; the good and the bad. First the good. The site was easy to navigate, the variety of items in the genre I was looking for (console tables) was excellent, ordering was a breeze, I was not charged for shipping or sales tax (I'm an out of state customer but some places still want to charge the tax - keep that money for themselves?), the item was well packaged, shipping was fast, and it was easy to build. Now for the bad or more accurately, the disappointment. The quality of the table - and it wasn't a cheap piece - was not what I expected. Most glaring was the top piece which is the most important. The wood tone is significantly darker than the bottom shelf and the legs. It had been varnished/lacquered which is fine, but it appears that when they inlaid the centerpiece, there was excess glue that they did not completely clean off the adjacent wood before varnishing. As a result, in the light you can clearly see disturbances on the wood surface in those areas. Since there was a varnish applied, there is no way for me to attempt to repair it. There are also several small places on the top piece where the staining of the wood did not take properly so they are significantly lighter. Again, I can't repair them because they are under the varnish. Finally, the center inlay is not well done. It was pieced together and the glue that was used to affix the different pieces protruded through the joints but wasn't properly cleaned before varnishing. The result is a discoloration in several areas of the inlay.
This piece was made in Vietnam, which from my experience generally produces quality furniture, but in this case the quality was lacking. I guess I shouldn't complain about the quality of the workmanship from people who probably make less than $10 a day manufacturing this furniture. I just wish there was more quality control as there is a lot to like about this piece for my specific need.
I'm not going to return it because in balance the positives outweigh the negatives. I just wish the top piece would have matched the color wood of the legs and bottom shelf and would have been touched up to correct the defects before it was varnished.

I was a little skeptical in ordering a chair from Bison Office only because I had never heard of them before. It was a chair I saw online in another well-known website. The chair I was looking into was to be a birthday gift for my mom. After I identified the chair I wanted, I goggled the specific chair brand and model number and it was when I first discovered Bison Office. The chair was significantly at a lower price compared to numerous other renowned online merchants. I checked Bison Office reviews and saw reviews vary but for the most part had decent to good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot and take a change on them. At the end, I cannot be more satisfied with my decision.
First, the chair arrived much faster than I expected. About two weeks after it arrived, I received a courteous email follow up from Bison asking about my experience regarding my purchase. I replied that I was pleasantly surprised with the promptness the item arrived, but that I couldn't attest about the quality of the item, since I had lacked the time to assemble the chair to provide my opinion on the item. Time got away from me and it was not until five weeks after it arrived that I got the change to assemble it. I must say the chair was very simple and easy to assemble. However, almost finished with assembling the chair (which by the way it is more beautiful in person than on the picture), I realized that one of the front legs nutserts were lose, making it impossible to afix the leg to the chair because screws would not tighten as they should. Knowing I would not have a claim to request a replacement chair and to try and fix the issue, duct tape was placed around the nutserts and placed back into the legs to secure the nutserts in place. That seem to fix the issue, or so I thought. Two weeks after, my mom called me to the room and I noticed the leg was about to fall of the chair. The screws almost fell off because the nutserts became lose again. Having no other choice, I decided to write to Bison Office customer service and explain the situation. At that time, they replied "unfortunately, all defective items must be reported within 30 days from the delivery date of the order." However, they also added "please be advised that if you could provide us with photo of the defect, I would be able to check if we can do an exception and ship out replacement leg for you." I immediately replied with pictures of the leg and the problem and indicated I understood it was my fault delaying assembly of the chair and that I would be grateful for everything they could do to help. Less than 24 hours later I got their reply indicating that replacement order for the front leg was approved, and less than three hours after that I got another email notification indicating replacement leg was shipped providing the fedex tracking number of the shipment. Three days went by and I got not one but two replacement legs. I immediately proceeded to install one, and it worked perfectly. Legs are finally secured on the chair and my mom, and I, are super happy and pleased with it.
I do not have enough words to express my appreciation to everyone at Bison Office for an incredible and outstanding customer service. Policies are meant to be followed, and I must assume responsibility for not assembling the chair in the appropriated timeframe. However, Bison Office understanding life can get hectic and complicated was very empathetic with my situation and made an exception to solve an unfortunate situation. From here on, whenever I decide to buy anything, I will check first with Bison Office to see if they have the item I am looking to purchase it from them. Not only do they have very competitive prices, their customer service is also second to none. So, they have made of me a loyal customer and advocate of their great customer service.
