After trying out several options for OCR, Grooper OCR has been the best. By scanning our documents, Grooper has freed up space taken up by many hundreds of thousands of pages. We have also given our staff more time when accessing records. Our time isn't wasted by having to bring a folder from off site storage and then going page by page to find a requested document. Also, we used the CMIS connectivity to extract images from our ECM system and find / identify documents that have PCI data to comply with regulations from the billions of archived documents.
