I bought an item on pre-order over a year ago I contacted them they gave me a deadline of two weeks and after months without sending it I got in touch again they told me it was delayed and they didn't know when they would send it and If I cancel I will lose my money a friend had the same problem but with another item I will never buy from this site again

I placed an order 9 months ago as a Christmas present for my son. Now it's July and still no items. It shows available within a week or two, but then they change it. I emailed and got a response about how they know how exciting it can be to wait for an order, but this is ridiculous.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t sell items you don’t have, lie about the time, and never update

Bought for 58 us, charged me 42 us for shipping * canada but... there is more

DHL charged me 2 times duty, so now it cost me more than original shipment

For quebec, canada its not worth it

I have made many pre orders with them. When I purchased the pre-order, the money for that amount is taken immediately when I confirm the order, three of my pre-orders I did last year, are now canceled because there's no money, even I checked my account and confirm that it was purchased on that day I confirm pre-order. Is anyone else having problems with that too. Also the customer service is dog$#*!.

When you make preorder from them always late when Item was release 1 month ago not even shipped out late, the price was 60% more them what price was give.

Tip for consumers:
If you miss the preorder option and did not trust Ebay seller then using this website you will get waht you want with 30-50% more on the price you pay

The post office can deliver a package anywhere in the country between four and seven days. The big bad toy store uses FedEx SmartPost which claims they can ship any package anywhere in the United States within two to seven days working Monday through Saturday this is from their website. It is now been 2 weeks and I still have not received my package this is not the first time I have experienced this with the big bad toy store luckily there are other four other retailers plus eBay that I have been able to get collectibles from. Only use big bad toy store if it's your last resort

As a FIRST time Customer I placed an order May 19th and I STILL have not received my order and it is now June 2nd and I contacted Big Bad Toy Store and NOTHING has been resolved. They are absolutely HORRILE of a Company and they wont even refund me back!. IF YOU DO NOT WANT A HEADACHE THEN I'D STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND ORDER ELSEWHERE!.

1) Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They have hung up on me twice. They have yelled at me twice.
2) Until they recently started their $4 flat shipping their shipping rates were astronomical.
3) Now their shipping is a great price but it's cheap shipping and unreliable.
4) They have delivered my order to the wrong address. Only once, but once is 1 time too many.
5) Their search engine sucks. I have an extremely hard time finding products without having to scroll through a ton of other brands, and items that don't even come close to what I'm looking for.

Have bought from BBTS before, and their delivery is typically fast...
Except when DHL is used!
Every time they have sent my order through DHL it takes almost a week or more longer to arrive.
This past recent time I placed an order on 11-8-22.
We are now at 11-19-22.
The order was not sent out till 11-11-22, fine.
Butb once DHL WI got it, it stayed nearly a week in Wisconsin with DHL.
Did not move till 11-16/17-22 where it arrived at DHL Houston.
It is 11-19-22 and it's still sitting in Houston!
In hopes that they see this...
STOP USING DHL!
Fed Ex works so much quicker.

If they use DHL to send your order, it will take very long.

After understanding that I was never going to receive the statue I ordered. I canceled the order, to see if I could recoup some of my money based off their policies. After some research into my inquiries about this issue, they actually refunded the full amount.

I still would go elsewhere!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Have been waiting on a batman/joker sculpture gift for over a year. Didn't mind that it was going to be super late but this is just negligence. The shipment window keeps changing, yet no email notification of the delays ever. They keep the 20% of your hard earned covid cash, by forcing you to cancel and making a no refund policy. Even when they are the slack ones. I'm pretty sure they don't even have it in stock to keep changing that date. They just don't want to refund the money.

DON'T, JUST GO ELSEWHERE! NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE.

Stay away you will make a order and wait 6 months. Then you will find it elsewhere after 7 days cancel the order but u won't get your money back but credit. Soooo it's a continuous circle of waiting. Dave then will tell you we have 10,000 people waiting your not alone lmao. Cool bro you don't need my money then.

I literally paid 10 dollars for shipping for 1 small 6 inch figure and the only shipping methods these idiots could ship it is parcel select. Really? Couldnt send it priority or first class? It wouldve just been better to buy it on ebay with this stupid shipping that they gave me. Atleast on ebay you can find the figure for the same price and with free priority. Jesus talk about cheap!

I placed an order here on April 14th, 2020. It shipped on April 16th, it is now May 23rd, and it is still not here. It won't be here until Tuesday, according to tracking. Covid had made things difficult for everyone, but shipping from other places was about 2 weeks, maximum. Bbts customer service has been very unhelpful, and uncaring, they don't even respond to me anymore. Would not reccomend getting from them.

I placed an order for a product on Nov 3. Turns out that just last week after 4 weeks expecting the parcel to arrive, I visit the website to find out my order was cancelled. No reason, no explanation and NO e-mail. If I had known this I would have been able to go to another business who could have sent me the item before Christmas without paying a fortune for shipping.
I have ill-feelings when mistreated this way and now will be apprehensive to ever order from them again. Bad first experience

Crappy delivery time, expensive delivery, but well packed and not damaged. Your package will come unharmed and in good shape but if you need things fast DO NOT USE THEM, also when i contacted customer service all i get is automated response saying shipping times in house and once sent out.

BBTS use to be great with shipping. But now the processing and shipping time is insane. I am not a one time buyer and have been buying from them for years. Their 4$ shipping is extremely slow. I have waited up to 1 month to get my packages. 2 weeks for them to ship and then 2 weeks while fed ex send my packages on a US tour. There is no reason for it to take a week to two weeks just to process and order. My last order i decided to take a shot and pay for one of their "faster" shippings. It still ttok them a week to process and my package still is not here. Placed it on june 14th today is the 30th. I think this is the last time im buying from them. If you try and contact them they are not helpful at all. They use the covid excuse for everything. Every other online store i use has no problems shipping right now and some stores are mom and pop shops, yet they still ship out extremely fast.

I'm going to be very very honest here. BigBadToyStore is not the worst online store I have purchased from, but it in no way is anywhere near the best. For whatever reason BBTS seems to always get items in last. The "Estimated Arrival" dates are NEVER accurate. I have only seen very few occasions where items came out when they were actually coming out on other online retailers. Now, I know that it is just an estimate, but this brings me to another one of my issues with this site. Certain items seem to NEVER come in for whatever reason even though the company that disperses them shipped them all out on time. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt since COVID-19 has delayed many things. With that said, I placed a preorder for an item that was released in JANUARY. It is currently JULY and this item is still up for preorder even though the product itself was shipped out. I am very frustrated with this considering it was supposed to be a Birthday gift. The item just keeps getting pushed back more and more and more. Another thing. Shipping. For whatever reason it takes an unreasonable amount of time for the order itself to be processed. Once the item is shipped there is no problem. It takes way too long for any order to be actually processed and moved out the door though. I have not dealt with their customer service enough to have a solid opinion of how that stands. One last thing. THE GRADING SYSTEM IS SEVERELY FLAWED AND IS BORDERING SCAM TERRITORY. I was happy when I saw that you could choose specific grades of the items that you want to purchase. You pay extra to ensure that a product is in A GRADE mint condition and get a discount on items that are damaged right? WRONG! First of all for whatever reason there is NO DISCOUNT ON DAMAGED OR SUBSTANDARD ITEMS. Why would anyone willingly buy a damaged item for the exact same price as a standard one that's in "good" condition? Secondly, I have ordered standard items that have come in a condition that fits more into the substandard or damaged range. The "Standard" grade does say that items CAN BE subject to some minor imperfections, BUT after purchasing from them I have found that this is just an excuse for them to move damaged product just because they have their collectors grade. I have purchased a standard grade item and recieved it with a massive gouge in the side of the box. Now finally the Collector's Grade. This grade is basically to ensure that your package does not arrive damaged or is not damadged when shipped. You have to pay extra for this. So, you're basically paying extra for the bare minimum quality that you should be getting anyway. I have recieved far too many "Standards" that are damaged and "Collectors" that still have minor imperfections and are what you would normally see of you ordered from a website without a grading system. You're basically paying extra to ensure that your item is in acceptable condition. And like I said why is there even a substandard or damaged grade if there is no discount on those products? This is very disappointing becasue something like this could have been a great way to control the quality of the valuable items you buy that other retailers would not care to do. With that said I have not had many glaring issues with the things I have purchased and recieved other then a few things as I stated. I've come to expect these things while shopping with them over the past 6 years, but I must say I'm just extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. This website is probably one of the most advertised, well known, and most sponsored retailers of collectors. You will often see people repping their name in reviews, which makes hardly any sense considering some of the items they are reviewing haven't even come out on the website yet. One last thing. Recently, the company NECA announced that they will no longer be selling any Godzilla related product. Almost immediately I witnessed the prices of these items on BBTS increase a very considerable amount. These items are offered by other retailers cheaper and will be released far sooner. I find it disappointing that they are on top of price gouging these items, but they cannot seem to solve the mystery of items that have been floating in preorder land for months. Anyway that's my two sense. Shop at your own risk. I'm not saying that you shouldn't shop here, but just be mindful of these things if you do.

Mainly for TBLeague / Phicen figures. I must of purchased quite a few of these figures from other online hobby stores or even on eBay that is in stock and BBTS still has them on Pre-order. Seems like BBTS is the last to receive their TBLeague figures, and other type of items going by other reviews. I find that BBTS does not have these figures in stock, even after over a MONTH when many on-line and ebay sellers have them in stock and ready to ship out.

Recent case: TBLeague Queen of Vampires Narama Huntress of Men 1/6 Scale Figure is still in pre-order status on BBTS as of June 19,2019. Another on-line hobby store in California had this figure in STOCK and ready to ship May 10,2019. Plus a few US sellers on eBay had this figure in stock as well. I ordered one and it was in my hands on May 15,2019.

I did order a few already in stock figures from BBTS and chose their $4 flat rate shipping. Takes about 1.5 weeks to arrive from the order date. From my experience, usually takes 3 or 4 business days from the day you order before they even ship out. I know it's the cheap flat rate. In my cases, the SLOW as molasses FEDEX Smartpost shipping was the method used.

To sum it up, I would AVOID the PRE-ORDERS from this place. Did I already say AVOID?! Perhaps, SKIP or NOT ORDER preorders, unless you want to be the last person on earth to receive the item, and everyone and their dog has it a month or more before you. Smh
