If you take any of the user names from a person that has won there aka"crazytrucker68" and google search that name you will find them on every site. bidfun.uk-- bidfun.ca-- bidfun. Dk-- bidfun.ie--- so Why would someone want to be bidding on stuff that isn't from that country this makes no sense except that its a SCAM! Please do put any money on this site! I sure didn't
It sounds very unethical after reading all the comments and I wish I did so before I spent my money. I think great if you win the item for less money however not great that dummy auto bids are set up as thats very malicious and the site needs to be shut down. I think if the company is making massive profits on the items sold; great for them but not if they are bluffing consumers with dummy bids and the time the auction goes for is ridiculous. I have been on since this morning and the bids are still flying in 8 hours later on particular items... Where is the consumer watch dog?
Total scam. Ran through credits in seconds bidding against an auto bidder. Who says that they aren't the ones constantly bidding against you. This way they always win and never have to deliver the goods. Took me for $20.00 in under a minute
For every bid you place, you pay $1 (or 1 point as they politely put it). I placed an automated bid for $50 with 50 attempts... hell, no wonder my money (or points) vanished so quickly. Each bid cost you a $1 but only adds $0.02 to the bidding price... so if your automated bid is $50 with 50 attempts and the current bid stands at $1.54... 50 bids (minis $50 out of your pocket... poof - gone!) will only adds $1 to the current bidding price, making it $2.54... and you've just lost $50 by placing a bid...
Anyone thinking they are getting something very cheap, even if it seams that way - think again. Take my example above, you may think you've bought sosmething for $2.54 but you've actually paid $2.54 + $50 (or how ever many times you've bid on the item) --- This screams of SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM and these people should be STOPPED IMMEDIATELY!
Don't use this site - you're gonna loose your money for sure!
I looked it up and went to multiple bidfun websites. They all had the same number of people at the same time strange or scam. It won't let me as a user make automatic bids as a user so I think automatic bids are people working for the website or bidfun computers you spend more money bidding and loosing than getting the item
If it's too good to be true then it can't be true. There are only 2 ways of getting something for nothing. 1. Somebody buys it for you. 2. You steal it. Don't go throwing good money at something that you know is impossible to get. Caveat emptor...
Bunch of scammers. These people are the lowest of the low. Not only does it seem they have false bidders to ramp up the price, they also let most of their perhaps false bidders win the actual prizes at the end, I imagine only to put back on the web for more suckers. I believe you will only lose on this website, stay away, stay far away.
I dropped in on this site yesterday and saw a camera that I quite fancied. I bought 20 points at a cost of £13 - that money went inside 5 minutes and I had nothing to see for it. They say " a fool and his money are soon parted "!
I wish that I had come here to read the reviews before handing over my hard earned money. I should have known that you don't get something for nothing... This is a well thought out scam site. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if BidFun didn't have a few robots set up to drive up prices and keep people bidding. I knew within a few bids that I had been had...
This website is no scam... you guys seem to be angry that they're making money? Who cares? Good on them! If you lost $200.00 on bids then that's your own irresponsibility. The site's terms are clearly stated and make perfect sense. You have to buy credits before you even bid! Did you really think that after buying credits that you are guaranteed to win? Grow up and stop whinging about the money you lost on your own part.
Total scam. When you read that the item worth $200 was sold for $10. It actually sold for $1000. Each point you bid is a dollar and it raises the bid only by. 01$.
Total scam. Do not get sucked into it.
I lost $100 last night. Once you bid the money is gone forever
After reading reviews i contacted pay pal and filed a complaint they advised to post a notice on this site and advise anyone who paid bidfun monies through pay pal and is unhappy or feel that they have been ripped off top file a complaint with pay pal
Probably thge greatest scam that I have seen so far! The same people go on winning, I have seen (after watching for many hours) a group of bidders (4 or 5) with unbelievably similar names, bid for many thousands of dollars without winning. SHILL bids.
Came across this site thought ok, joined bought $20 bid points kept bidding then thiught I will have to buy more, but for some reason they said i could'nt use that credit card (lucky me) so I rang my credit card company, yes that $20 went through but there are also 5 transactions of $1 can not work that out, any way those 5 transtions have been reported as a fraud
The auction never ends! Ive been following this auction for 2 days and the remaining time on the auction has been between the last 2 minutes to 1 second till it ends. At the last second everybody bids, which every bid adds 20 seconds to the auction so it never ends. Plus, every bid you make costs a dollar so you can spend $50 very fast and not even get a pencil out of it.
This site is a total scam, when you sign up it isnt made clear that your points are just for the right to bid. I would not reccommend this site to anyone under any circumstances, the only way to beat these rip off artists is to make sure no one else falls into their traps.
I was so stupid to use this website. I spend $50 just to bid. I thought I won but always someone or the same person appears and bit over again that add some more time and seems the bitting time gover forever. Really time consuming. If you are honest person and no time for this kind of bull$#*! this site is not for you. I am very happy with eBay. This site is scam, stay away from this. One bit costs you $1 and can't refund the money for the points once you bought them.
I tried it " BIDFUN.NZ"with $50, never quit, my credit nearly gone, but... I won, its a 16 G flash drive, then I paid the shipping coast $7. Haha, I am waiting for about two month till now no delivry. I sent lots of emails, but no respond
PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T BID WITH THIS SITE. Bidfun is a total ripoff. 1 bid equals approx $1 and only increases the bid amount by $. 01. Using that math, an item selling for $20 actually nets them $2000+. You do NOT get your money back if you don't win the auction. If you do win the auction, not only do you pay $1 for every bid, you also have to pay the final amount of the auction. They are on the rip-off report list. I only wish that I had checked it before I spent $200, which is non-refundable. I can hardly believe that they are legal or were able to actually set up this business, but I must believe it as I just got taken for $200. I am unemployed and that was my christmas money and I feel more stupid than I have ever felt in my 53 years right at this moment. Stay away! Register complaints on ripoff.com
Don't waste your money. Allows you to use paypal or cred card to buy first bidding points. When those run out, they want you to enter a bank acct. It cost me more than several points before I understood the only way to possibly win. Even then, with my 1 point left I placed a very high bid on an item, clicked to possibly buy more points, then when I clicked back to item, I no longer had a "robot" bid and no points. My placed bid was still more than $35 than the ongoing bidding price. SCAM imho!
Answer: Crusty9 i won a prize last night believe me i have nothing to do with bidforfun if i don't recieve it ill let you know
