Thank God I was one of the few who got their money's worth. I'll give them a -ve 10 star rating if there was that option. I thought initially that there was some real benefits such as getting TVs for a couple cents like the hypes promised on their ads and then once I really came to my senses and realized that this was just like any other auction and that winning was by luck, I was out. They pressured me to buy more bids and that they'll give me several more and teach me winning strategies but I didn't succumb. The last item I won took about a month and a week to arrive as opposed to the 2 weeks guarantee they promised. I quickly realized those people who were bidding a lot and won sooo much and never seemed to run outta bids were actually beezid employees themselves. It made so much sense and I just had to get out ASAP. Like when they were giving away the jeep last year, do you really think they'd let someone win something like that? Even if they did, do you know how much bid it'll cost them? Almost three times the retail price of the car. I knew there was no guarantee to win anything... Anyway, I spent roughly $270 on bids and got about $1300 worth of goods from them, at the time (2014 December). I still have a couple things with them worth about $30-$50 that I won but I can't even log in to see them, much less get them. But I'll dust off my shoes and go seeing as I was one of the lucky ones! 1
After seeing the advertisement on TV, I went to the web site to see what it was all about. After watching the introductory video I decided to continue with the sign-up procedure and see if I could bid myself into a fantastic deal.
As I was signing up to register for the site I became more and more apprehensive about completing it until I learned more of just how it worked. I Google the site and selected Site Jabber. I am so happy I did. First of all I want to thank all of you who took the time to submit reviews to enlighten those of us who are about to be sucked into this site. Some of the reviewers say this is not a scam but entertainment. Well it might be entertainment to some but it is still a scam in my opinion. It is a means to separate people from their money and give little if anything in return except maybe the "entertainment" value. Beezid may not be illegal but maybe it should be or at least they should be required to plaster a large warning flag on their site telling all that Beezid is strictly for entertainment and great deals are few and far between.
This is a all out scam just watched my hubby put in a 100 of what they call auto bids only to have auction close 5 bids later True he has got bids in contest on face book and like 800 of them at that Ask him what he has won Knot a damn thing all-so true he did know pay full price for his bids he Bid for fee but they still come out ahead Ask him does it make sense that a penny auction will close Until it gets to retail price We are like everyone trying to SAVE $$ Trust us this is knot your best option Try Ebay no cost out of your pocket if you lose And yes he has paid $ for bids 100$ or more whats the old sayin? Fool me once Shame on you fool me twice shame on me PLEASE PLEASE DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU TWICE NOW WE FIND OUT THEY ARE PAYIN BIDS FOR GOOD REVIEWS OF THERE SCAM TELLS YOU A LOT ABOUT IT 1 LAST THING BEFORE I GO VEGAS WAS KNOT BUILT ON WINNERS PLEASE DONT LET THEM BUILD A SCAM ON YOUR $$$$$$$$ THANKS FOR YOUR TIME IN READING POST
I spent $80 on bids at Beezid and didn't win anything. Call me stupid, but I know the only stupid thing I did was sign up for Beezid in the first place.
All these people reviewed this site and one person actually likes it. That was probably the one person out of all of us that actually got something without spending a bunch of money. I will admit I blew $70 at this site and got nothing. I hope this site goes out of business soon so consumers like us are no longer duped out of our money. The only problem is the site owner will be rich by that time. BOTTOM LINE IS; THE SITE SUCKS DO NOT GO THERE>>>PLEASE IF YOU LIKE YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO THERE! Thanks.
I knew after a while that this site was a scam and they still owe me items and money in my wallet! Any idea how I can get reimbursed for this scam?
I won a few products from this place since November 2013. The sites are great as you do get the products but the shipping is totally horrendous.
As mentioned I won and paid auctions on same day which was in November of 2013 and believe it or not TODAY (August 5 2014) it arrived.
They said there are longer to deliver if I live outside their country to ship.
9 months for shipping items? No business I've ever heard does that.
There were a few items I won at very good deals, however they said that those items were "out of stock" and they would replace with gift cards, guess what, still waiting, and in case you ask, I have emailed them constantly and they keep saying "It's coming".
I don't believe the "outta stock" line they used, I believe I won it at a very low bid and they refused to ship it. It was a Rice Cooker I think I won for 12 cents with FREE SHIPPING attached.
The shipping time is the only reason I haven't rated this 5 stars if it was 1 month shipping that would be ok but not 7 months and counting for goodness sakes.
Terrible. Tried to sell me 500. Dollars more after 60.00$ bought and said you would be sure to win the item you bet on if bought the 500. Extra fixed deals
This website is not a scam. I have won a number of things and haven't gotten every single one of them. I do, however, have complaints...
They are EXTREMELY inconsistent and unprofessional. I won two items in the same day, I received one in less than a week, and the other took 4 1/2 weeks.
Customer Service is absolutely pathetic. 'Anthony' and 'Angelo' (the only two people that EVER answer the phones) seem like they have the power to do whatever they want. Ex: I tried logging on after being on the previous day and my account was inactive. I called and they said their "security software" flagged my account. I asked what the problem was, they stated (word for word) "I don't know". I asked how long my account will be inactive they stated "I'm not sure". It has been four months now and I still get the "I don't know" answer. I did nothing wrong either.
The 'shipping department' seems like a one man crew who just orders stuff off amazon.com, as almost all the items come in amazon boxes, with the packing slip inside coming back either to a residence, or a rinky-dink store in Brooklyn.
I don't like there fake they don't send your stuff, there just make you waste your money. Is been almost them 2mths that we haven't received our stuff there giving us Bull$#*! excuses all the time
Heaven forbid you call customer service. They berate you, lie to you and even sometimes curse at you. Its crazy! All I wanted was to ask a question! Apparently is was literally too much to ask...
This site does not deserve to be online. This one of the worst scammers I have seen. Now listen and don't fall to it. First, someone from the company (after investigations) posted a good deal on craigslist for sale. After a series of interactions and ready to buy, he told me some one just bought it. He then directed me to go buy an even cheaper deal from BeezID.com. I was so excited and thank him for that. I went to the site to register and begin shopping just to realize a credit card information I gave has been charged. Called to let them know I had not bought anything yet and needed to get the money back. That's where they directed me to a hidden agreement which says moneys are non-refundable. Could you believe they never refund the money and let me to buy cartulary set which I had not intent of buying. Now when it was time to ship my set they want a letter indicating I live in that address provided. WHAT A SCAM... I'm still fighting with them to have the set that I never wanted shipped to me. Please do not FAAL for this SCAM...
Every bid costs you. 60 cents but only. 01 cent is placed on the item. So if the item is at $17.00 the item has cost consumers $1,003.00. Not a value at all.
I've been a member of Beezid almost as long as the company has existed, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. I heard about the site from a friend who won a PlayStation 3 and he invited me to check it out.
I read the rules, tips, and suggestions, and tried to develop a strategy before I started bidding. I practiced in the bid for free auctions and that was how I got my first bid pack. That was also how I first learned that some people care more about winning than about the item they're trying to win. Beezid makes its profit by selling bids and it's up to each member to use their bids wisely. I learned that if someone is all about the win, it's better to save my bids until the auction item comes around again. With a good strategy and a realistic budget, I've found it easy to find success on Beezid.
Since I joined, I've won countless items. Gift cards, iPods, Kindles, battery chargers, docking stations, movies, video games, video game consoles... I've won tons. Everything always arrives in perfect condition and I'm thrilled with every item I've won. The secret is to keep your wits about you and treat each auction like a realistic competition. You do have to pay to bid, but you have to bid to win.
I came, I saw, I conquered. A little homework goes a long way and I strongly recommend Beezid to anyone who is willing to put the thought into winning auctions. Play it smart and you can walk away with some amazing deals without spending a fortune on bids or any other items.
Well, for the last 3-4 weeks, i've been going in and out of beezid.com. One year ago i did the 10 free bids and never came back to it. This year i had some extra cash and i always like a good bargain, i received a phone call from beezid and they offered me 500 free bids with my purchase of a bundle, i went to the website and saw that 500 bids cost $300, so i took the bribe, cause come on free $300 bucks. And the sales guy guaranteed that i will win something and we spent 20 minutes on the phone talking about strategies. 2 weeks one day ago i saw an interesting item, an apple ipad. Those are expensive and the bid just started, i took the sales men strategies and surprising to me, i won, for the amount $88 plus shipping which was $19, it took all of the 500 bids that i got free from them plus about half of what i originally bought, so out of my pocket was roughly $280. In my mind and in my pocket books 'mind' i saved money, cause a new apple ipad does not cost $280 bucks. So i claimed the item and it states that it takes 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Well today i just started on my 3rd week. And i should be receiving my new ipad this week. I have confidence that i will receive my item, but after reading alot of negative reviews i got worried. But everytime i call beezid during business hours, they always answer and respond to my questions accurately. I will keep who ever is interested updated after i get my ipad, well if i get it. We'll see, i will respond to my review later on this week.
I am MAD. Beezid took $60 from me while I was trying to bid on a video game for a my son. Now I do not have $60 and do not have anything for my son. I hope you feel good about yourself, Beezid.
They spent almost two weeks calling me after they got my money I never heard anything from them. So I lost $650.00 Can somebody tell me, how I can get my money back?
So here is the thing with this website, in order to get the really good deals (i have won brand new video-game for 62cents and a bar-tending kit for $1.20) you CANNOT BUY BIDS. Use the free 10 bids they give you in the cherry auctions and be patient, this way you don't waste your money on bids. Then when you win or run out of bids, deleted your account and then set up a fake new email address and sign up again and use your new set of 10bids (after a month you can resign up with your initial email). Just DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON BIDS, it's stupid; just milk the system.
So there is A LOT of hate out there for penny auctions and honestly, most of it is because people are jumping in without fully understanding how they work.
Some of the most common complaints I've seen are:
1. Yes you have to buy a bidpack to create an account. If you're putting in a credit card, anywhere online, it should be pretty clear that you're making a purchase...
2. Yes, each bid costs money. This is not Ebay, do not go into it expecting Ebay. If you lose an auction, you also lose all of the bids you spent in that auction.
As long as you understand how penny auctions work, you can get some pretty cool stuff and save a decent chunk of change. That's why I'm giving is a 4 star review. I've won some pretty cool stuff on Beezid, and, even once you factor in the cost of the bids I spent, it ended up being cheaper than retail.
Once you factor in the cost of bidding, the savings aren't quite as good as 99% and you can lose money if you're not careful. Don't get mad at Beezid if you didn't read up on how it works...
Please stay away from this site, They took me for $100.00.
These guys are crooks. You will never win anything. I watched the same user bidding on everything and winning.
Answer: Whe I signed up there was NO mention of buying bids. My oly saving saving grace was filing a fraudulent charge on your card You will have to close the card, but it is worth it. I don't know how long ago you made the acct, but i would get on the phone with the bank first thing tomorrow and handle this. They are crooks, but you have to learn your options whe you make the mistake of signing up with them. I hope this helps.
Answer: Yes they will with out notice
Answer: I lost a lot of money (thousands) on this website because I obviously fell for it hook, line and sinker and, of course, your coach will keep getting you to buy bids until you are broke, just like in any casino. That is all these sites are is gambling. The house always wins, them being the house and if you do win something, most of the cheaper stuff is just that Cheap. Looked on there the other day and they actually had paper towels to bid on. I don't know how they get away with calling this an auction site. I have been to plenty of auctions and if you don't win the bid, then you don't lose your money unlike here. When you first sign up they will make sure you win and then it's downhill from there. They change the rules all the time to suit themselves. And you will never convince them that anything is wrong, they won't give you back 5 bids--too greedy. My advice is to get off the website and don't look back. They will start calling and not let up! The last time I posted here, I heard from them the next day and they asked me to take my comments down--if they are so legitimate why would they do that? Needless to say, I didn't.
Answer: Most of the bids only cost. 01 -. 03 -. 07 depends on how you buy bids... You can see the average cost of the "winners" bids when the aution closes over on the right side of the screen... YES the same bidders are in there most all the time, so called power bidders... Yes they use the AUTO bid function, YES some people have said they feel like some of these bidders are "FAKE" computerized bidders that Beezid uses the program to build up the price of an item. After all that is how Beezid makes their $$... MY advise is to be very cautious, you will never get wins of value compared to the amount of $$ you spend to buy bids... Their "Coaches"... their job is to talk you into buying more bids and spend more of your money... that is their job... and they have a way of talking to make you think they are really "Helping" you to bid smart! It is BULL!
Answer: In your question you asked,"Why is everyone giving you bad reviews?" Who is "you"? Who are you referring to? This is just a site that warns people about fraudulent encounters with a broad range of Companies. Please be more specific with your question or just be smart and read all the reviews and take it how it is. Sorry I couldn't answer your question, but if you're planning on being another victim for Beezid to rip off, that's your choice. We just try to stop people from being ripped off by these so called Companies.
Answer: DON'T BID AND STAY OUT OF BEEZID THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
Answer: It it walks like a duck...
