First looking at the site they seem legitimate, but after registering I noticed a few things that I didn't like. For starters, after you register by giving your email and other related information you are sent to a page where you are instructed to make a purchase. About a page or so back I remember reading that making a purchase was not necessary for access and that I could buy links later. WRONG! Not only was I required to make a purchase, but they had the nerve to post a paypal secure sticker without being able to even accept paypal payments! (I do most of my online transactions through paypal as a measure of protection) They seemed to only accept payments through methods that I personally have never heard of before and did not seem US based. At this point I began inspecting the page some more and noticed that the page was not secured like most legitimate pages that require personal information are. This is when I had my fill and promptly exited the site. Is backlinksgenius.com a scam. I cannot say yes with 100% certainty, but the signs are there and it seems to me that the only links they are interested in are the ones that give access to bank accounts.
