I'm not sure how & why the Aura Identity Protection is rated so high but I will tell you, I spent $85 plus tax ( the annual cost) for them to stop the spam texts I am receiving daily. They did absolutely NOTHING. They have a 60 day guarantee but when I cancelled within the 60 days, I was only refunded a prorated amount. Horrible, unethical company

Tip for consumers:
They are useless

Worthless product for me on the Security side, get more from simple Google account, useless notifications that even their customer service rep could not explain. Worse, when I cancelled within 60 days, they switched to 60-14 days as their policy and would not issue refund. Contrasted with the other reviewer's experience, they would not even accept payment for the 60 days at their higher monthly rate for cancellation. Their Annual Plan which is the only one that purportedly allows for a refund is a big Gotcha. Right from the time you click on their Free Trial, all the way to payment and their Enrollment letter, there is only mention of 60 days for cancellation and their Gotcha is a dulled out, nearly impossible to read footnote on their landing page that contradicts the 60 day message, including their cryptic Enrollment letter. So you are safe only if you do not succumb to their multiple, blaring Enrollment tabs and search for a dulled out, greyed out footnote (needs Photoshopping before you can read it). Clearly deliberate and untrustworthy disclosure practice to nab Annual fees and the interactions with their personnel on this issue sealed any interest to do business with them. Distasteful experience in product, service interactions and business practices. Their Annual Plan is a big Gotcha to nab and keep a hefty fee for a poor product, poor service and disclosure policies. Of course, they have any number of add-ons they will sell you on top of a poor introductory service for Security... after understanding how they operate, will be staying away and want to make sure others are fully aware.particularly about their Annual Plan baiting.
