Worst experience with a company ever. Atlas Limousine cancelled my original Saturday date at 8am after confirming the night before we were good to go. I should have got someone else but it was too last minute and I had to transport 6 teens to an event at TopGolf or risk losing my deposit with them. I agreed to move to the next day. I had to scramble and get TopGolf and all the guests to change to the next day. They showed up in a rusted old white limo. The radio was not turned on for us, the one side of the limo had this horrible stained glass film covering the windows so we couldn't see out, the privacy screen would not go down so we couldn't communicate with the driver, we got the one of two available windows that would go down, stuck in the down position and it wouldn't go back up without the driver doing it from up front. The glass would fog up but we couldn't have heat on without it being on full blast causing it to get to 80 degrees inside. The interior lights were pretty and they had plastic champagne glasses for us but that's all I can say was positive about the vehicle.
Once we were finally in the limo I had to call the limo driver on my phone to get him to come back to the car so we could get going. Then I had to provide the address of the first location even though I had given all locations and confirmed with the company prior to his arrival.
When we got to our house, he stopped before going up our gravel driveway so we figured he wasn't going to be able to make the small hill so we thought he was going to back up but he tried anyway and then couldn't make it. That's when he decided to back up and drove off the driveway into a very large ditch he couldn't get out of. Myself and the 6 teens were jostled to the side as the limo was now sitting tilted in the ditch. The driver had no idea what to do. I immediately told the teens to get out carefully as it wasn't safe for us to stay in the limo. Then I waived down some of my neighbors for assistance since the driver just kept spinning his wheels and getting nowhere. It was Sunday a little after noon so a wrecker to come tow us out would have taken forever to arrive and cost a lot of money. Luckily, I have very thoughtful, helpful and smart neighbors that were able to leverage the limo out of the ditch. After an hour and half of getting the limo out of the ditch, the teens and I were in the house and came out to get back in the limo again to try to make our even time at TopGolf. The driver then drove too fast at times and crossing over the middle yellow lines where there were rumble strips. He drove too slow in the left hand lane as we could see cars passing us on the right. We arrived late to TopGolf but they were very kind and accommodating. They even let us stay a little later to make up for the late arrival. Unfortunately, we lost time in the limo to be able to drive around, which I paid for and never was given a credit. Never a formal thank you or apology for what we went through. So not only was the driver incompetent, the company took my money including a tip they automatically add on prior to the limo arrival and never refunded anything back for my inconvenience, lost time and dissatisfaction. I booked this limo for 5 hours and wanted to be able to treat the kids to a drive around so they could feel special. Especially my son, since it was a surprise for his birthday.
This company should be out of business for advertising pictures of new limos and showing up in crap. Also for putting a tip on your reservation before you've even seen the driver and car. Plus I never received a refund for my lost time while the driver had the limo stuck in a ditch. Maybe if the privacy screen window would have worked I could have yelled stop and prevented the issue but since the cars features didn't work, we will never know.
