AspDotNetStorefront is by far a very bad bad bad company to do business with. After paying 1500 for their cart, and telling you yes its very easy to do anything you want. You get stuck. They offer you their forum to discuss as much as you like but the truth is as soon as you say anything negative about a function in their cart that's not working the way it should they delete your post, yup believe me you, they delete your post no matter what you do or say they couldn't care less about you. If you want proof let me know i have all the posts in an email before they deleted them from their forum.

E-commerce solution is hard to use and customer support is bad - I tried AspDotNetStorefront because everyone was raving about its features and flexibility. I am not a programmer, but I had a very hard time setting up the software, and the admin tools were hard to use as well. To make matters worse, customer support was slow and not especially helpful once I got a hold of them.

If you're an experienced programmer, AspDotNetStorefront might be a great e-commerce solution, but for people who don't program or are beginners, AspDotNetStorefront is just too hard to use. After I gave up on AspDotNetStorefront, I started using Shopsite which, so far, has been a lot easier.

Horrible shopping cart platform and the support is just as bad. A dev partner bought it from a dying company and then instead of putting all the features they developed for it to improve it and make it competitive, they make you pay extra per item. So out of the box it is garbage and plan on paying a bunch more to extend which can be very expensive. We have spent over $30,000 trying to update the cart to be competitive. There review system and mobile features out of the box are horrible to customize. The mobile which was advertise as the new outstanding feature does not even have mobile checkout. But the new owners do have that and make you pay a monthly fee. The front end is also done poorly in a CSS and mostly in tables. Use Magento or Znode, I have been working in both and from a really supportive community perspective Magento works really well and is beautiful out of the box.

Feel free to contact me, I have used this product for 3 years for 6 major appliance brands and can give you the reality of the situation.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CART
September 22, 2013

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CART. Don't even think about it.

The shopping cart has a lot of features, but you have be an ASP expert to do ANYTHING with this cart. It is priced WAY to high for what you get.
You will have to pay at least $1000 to get a skin for your site, there are no off-the-shelf-skins only customized skins by vendors. They do offer a skin "package" which includes about 8 skins... the only difference is that they are a different color.

You will have to pay $100's of dollars to get the functionality of almost any other cart. Things like narrowing down a product by descriptors, such as color or processor speed, will cost you $400 for an add-on piece of software from a completely different company.

What you get from your ~$2,000 purchase is a plain site (unless you pay more), no help (unless you pay more), no functionality (unless you pay more) and you have to know code to do almost ANYTHING with this site. The setup alone (unless you pay them to set it up), if you do it on your own will take months, if not more.
