I finally got a return call after weeks of trying to communicate. Was told the stepson died in a motorcycle accident. What a horrible horrible th ming to lie about... promised to ship my order within a few days. After another week n a half w no communication ny bank refunded my money. BUYER BEWARE! I WI) be going on vacation to Fla soon n will definitely be sto]ing in to see the liars. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF! SICKENING!

Everything I've read here by other customers is totally believable by me. I really wish I'd read these reviews before I so foolishly dropped nearly $400! I got excuses about my weather not being good enough to ship my order for 3 weeks. This is only after I emailed inquiries because communication was nil. Then I was told to expect my shipment on a Tuesday when I paid extra fee for Saturday delivery. There's a reason I need it on Saturday! I was frustrated with this poor attitude and requested cancellation of entire order and a full refund. 2 weeks later, still no refund, and no response from company. I'm looking into legal options because this company should not get away with this.

BAIT AND SWITCH
January 19, 2017

BAIT AND SWITCH. Ordered 150 watt metal halide, they sent 100 watt and charged me for the 150 watt, tried to tell me that the 100 watt ballast will be fine with the 150 watt bulb That never got. I called Hamilton technologies to verify if this combo is correct and they said absolutely not. They said 150w ballast with 150w bulb. E-mails phone calls no response back.

SCAM

I ordered coral and shrimp from this company, no one answers the phone, or returns my calls. Emails after I sent one after waiting a week. They made excuses, I complained again the next week, they sent an email back about a week later stating they needed my debit card info again, I told them no that I wanted my purchase or my money refunded! I'm not paying for something I already paid for! Very bad customer service! How can we get these people in trouble for using so many people?

Very Bad Business

Ordered a few fish about 6-7 months ago and to date have still not received my fish OR my money back - have tried asking for both, got a lot of excuses for a while, but now the company (Tom Hellwig) won't even respond. They took my money though and ran with it! Will NEVER use a debit card ever again on line - I know call me stupid for doing it the first time :( Way too trusting - trying to change that! Will also NEVER do business with this company (or their many other company names) again. They wouldn't even respond to the Better Business Bureau - that pretty much sums them up. Stay Away!

I ordered 350.00 plus for seahorses I never received anything. I have made many request for my seahorses or my money back. Have not had any response.If you order something from aquarium creations. They will take you'y money and they won't send you anything. They won't respond to any to any of you; r e mails or phones calls.
Don't get ripped off like i did.

Very bad
March 25, 2016

Ordered Hippo and Kole tang and 3 shrimp. Left numerous messages and emails inquiring about ship date. Seller was very poor with communication. Finally shipped after two weeks. Sent overnight upon delivery immediately open and Kole tang was dead. Hippo covered in Ick. Quarantined hippo with copper sulfate overnight, he didn't make it to the morning. One shrimp arrived the other two didn't. Although there was a small bag of sand After many calls emails the seller replied that he would replace the Kole Tang on my next order. Never acknowledged the Hippo or the two missing shrimp. Repeated emails and calls asking for a credit as I would not order anything else from this place have not been returned.

OMG, This company should be investigated and put out of business. I ordered Premium Picasso and they sent me a regular one. They told me that I got what I ordered and did not want to work with me. They still owed me a dead fish that was promised to send on my next order since they don't refund. Don't waste your time on these $#*!ing losers. They will go to hell.

Ordered fish tank (Nano Cube) and stand from Aquacon website. After opening tank on 10/27/2013 discovered tank was broken. Stand had not arrived. I called Aquacon the following day and spoke to Debbie their customer service representative. While I was on the phone with Debbie, she spoke to the owner Ron who acknowledged that the company that packs the Nano cube does a poor job. The tank broke because a heavy item ~15 lbs (light ballast) was put inside the tank without support, which allowed the ballast to slide back and forth. This acted like a battering ram inside the tank and broke the glass. Ron promised to send me a new tank and that I could use the broken tank as spare parts.
About a month later after repeated emails about the status of a replacement tank I called Aquacon and spoke to owner Ron. He admitted no replacement tank was sent yet, but told me that he ordered a new tank from another supplier. Claimed that new tank was on a truck being shipped to me. Assured me that tank was ordered because he had an invoice for the new tank.

To this date I have received no replacement tank and the original stand was never shipped. Ron repeatedly made promises to ship a new tank and admitted responsibility. Thank goodness my bank reversed the charges. I understand things getting damaged but having the company repeatedly lie to me about replacing the product is not acceptable.

I ordered marine plants, they sent me something that does not look like the plant I ordered from their website. I tried to contact them, but just kept ignoring my emails, and when I called them, I told them I emailed them a picture of what they sent me, they told me that they will check my email and will forward it to the owner, but still no resolution. TERRIBLE!
