Purchased the MITSUBISHI VLT-HC5000LP lamp on 9/7/16 and probably installed it around mid-September. Called to confirm that this was a genuine Oshio bulb before I purchased. May have been lied to when I was told it was. It fit, the picture was nice and the family was initially happy. Burned out after about 300 hours of use. Did some research and counterfeitlamps.com raised some red flags.
