I purchased products through a distributor of AMP who had discounted items because they were un boxed and ran for testing. The deal was to good to pass up so bought the entire Kohler Series product line from AMP. A 3 in 1, generator, compressor, water pump and power washer. I thought the stuff looked great but a buddy of mine was insisting the products were either counterfeit or stolen. It had me worried so I called AMP who assured the products were purchased legitimately and fully warrantied. They also encouraged me to call Kohler to confirm as well. Which I did and Kohler confirmed the engines were legitimate and warrantied. My buddy was surprised and asked me to contact AMP about more products for sale. A few weeks later another similar package was available and delivered to him.

I am now 2 months in and all of the products are working great. I had to use the gas generator finally when the most recent storm came through last week and ran a majority of my house without any problems. My buddy has 200 hours on his 3 in 1 and it runs just as good as the first day. I guess sometimes things that are to good to be true are real! AMPs customer service was great and I am glad they're driver stopped by my house that day!

When Welding this machine is smooth. Portable not too Big. Nice Size Machine i mounted mine on a truck. Also loved all the Power Outlets on it to run other equipment, Grinders etc. Very Easy to set up. Good for a variety of projects. The Place where I used to work has one of these and we used it hard and it came back for more. Of course we kept it well maintained such as changing the oil regularly and bringing in out of the elements. Would recommend this machine because it is reliable. The Machine always started right up without any problems and was ready to go. We Loved the Machine so much we purchased a second one. Very productive Machine.

I bought the AMP TRIPLEX Generator, Compressor, Welder to use on my small hobby farm. I chose this machine by recommendations of friends. One of whom bought AMP's entire Kohler product line and loves them! This is a great little machine, but don't let it's size fool you. This machine is capable of anything you may throw at it. Thinking I would be welding a few broken gates in the beginning ends up gouging and replacing some pretty heavy duty pieces of farm equipment from surrounding farms. I can't complain the money comes in handy but takes away from my regular chores. If you want a really good machine that will last for a long time then get this one. It is probably overkill for my applications and better suited for industrial or portable rig use but hey! You get what you pay for. I would recommend it to anyone!

This compressor starts like a dream with the Kohler engine. Both the compressor and the motor are relatively quiet for this type of equipment. The compressor makes an awesome amount of air. While the rated CFM numbers are nice to know, the real test is what the unit will operate. I tried it with my rotary air sander that I use for body work. It runs it almost as well as my big, 6 hp electric, shop compressor. This sander uses more air than anything else I own.
Everything on the unit is rock solid. The unit pumps up to 115-120 psi, The higher pressure is nice for air tools. Since the compressor comes equipped with a regulator you can always turn it down to a lower pressure but you are limited on the maximum. It comes with quick connects already installed on a high flow regulator. The only change I would like to have seen is a lifting ring. This a relatively heavy compressor (160 pounds) and there are numerous warnings in the instructions about being careful about how to load it. If there was a lifting ring at the proper point it would be dead easy to pick it up with a loader bucket and place it in your truck. Other than that I've had this machine for 6 months and it still starts first pull!

Easy to assemble - just put the handle on, screw on a few brass fittings, attach the wand and hose, put oil and gas in (separately - it is 4-cycle), put in the detergent product, attach a hose and pull the easy pull rope to start. The choke works well and it starts right up. There is little to actually put together as it comes assembled except for the handle which snaps right on. The nozzles are much easier to change in and out than my previous ryobi pressure washer from Home Depot. There are two manuals and great instructions that are included in the box. I recently added a concrete parking area to my driveway and wanted them to better match, as the driveway is 9 years old. This machine works like a champ and does a great job. The tires are nice and large making it very easy to move around. I'd have photos, but it snowed last night and ruined my photo shoot. Another pro is there are accessories that can be purchased for cleaning gutters, extending the wand, cleaning floors, and more. I'm very pleased with this pressure washer. It works like a champ. I'm anxious for Spring so I can clean my patios and picnic table.

Got it From an AMP distributor during the hurricane here in Texas during recent power outage. Works great was able to power all home needs. I am going to have it permanently installed with switch and it own panel. Should have enough power to run refrigerators well pump water heater and some lights. During recent use had to run extension cords ran lights 2 refrigerators freezer, TV, lights up stairs and 2 c-pap machines Never went over 30 percent power and got 17 hr on one tank of gas

I was unsure of AMP when making this purchase of my Kohler Series 10,000 Generator because I was not familiar with the brand. I knew though with the Kohler Command PRO engine it had to be a quality product! I could not be happier with how this generator has performed! I had a new 200 amp service installed in my new garage - for my home, set up for my planned generator, turn off the 200 amp breaker and then you can turn on the thirty amp breaker for the generator. Then had a cord sixteen foot long installed to the 30 amp side - 240volt. Then took a double outlet outside cover, knocked out the divider and now able to pass my 240 plug through. The generator can be outside my big or small door. Last March I ran it for the 1st time for fun, tried it out. Turned on everything or like dryer, furnace fan, lights and a milk house heater. Checked the voltage - 23.9 - 24. The generator ran great and everything else did also. Tested for six hour, I was a mechanic so pulled out the flash suppressor as no chance of a fire and no worry of being plugged. Second, pulled air cleaner cover and drilled a 3/8" hole in front, installed back, someday if need to spray starting fluid easy hole to spray in. Bought some gas conditioner from auto parts store, might add some - someday. Total wow, does the generator work great I have have 60 hours on the unit and beyond my greatest hope!

I purchased the AMP Kohler Product line from a distributor about a month ago. I purchased the TRIPLEX 9200, Kohler Series 10,000 Gas Generator, Air Compressor, 3000 PSI Pressure Washer and 3 in. Semi-Trash Pump. The equipment has been great. The 10k is already hooked up to my house through the 50 AMP plug, pressure washer is used in the shop to clean the trucks.The TRIPLEX is a great generator on the job site. The welder runs a better bead then I expected. It stands up to any miller or Lincoln I have owned.

The first time we ran the compressor it worked at first and then shut off. I called AMP soon after I realized the issue. A live representative answered the phone right away. I informed them the compressor pump had locked up and it was a huge surprise to them to have any issues with this unit. They transferred me to a service tech right away. He asked about the fluid level in the compressor pump and i informed him I was under the assumption that oil had been added to the engine and pump before I made the purchase. I have been purchasing equipment for years for our trucking company and when you do not add oil to something it is never covered under warranty. It is user error for not adding oil. Not only did AMP tell me they would be replacing the air compressor pump at no charge under warranty, but they also offered to pay half of the shipping to there facility to install it.

AMP is the best power equipment customer service I have ever dealt with, There was a live rep on the phone as soon as I called and they were eager to solve my problem. They were there to help through the duration on the repair (1 week) and they knew me by name every time I called. I could tell from talking to there tech that they do not usually have issue with this TRIPLEX 9200. I have had the new pump installed for close to 6 months now and this unit is the best piece if equipment I have owned. The Kohler engines are just as good if not better than any Honda. I usually do not write reviews but I felt the need to inform everyone about this company! If you are in the market for any power equipment take a look at their product line!

I decided to purchase a 3 in 1 Generator/Compressor/Welder from AMP. The model is the TRIPLEX 9200. I was hesitant to make the purchase because I felt even though the thought of having 3 functions on one unit seems convenient it may also cause concerns with performance. The unit is pricey to say the least ($9,450.00). So when making a purchase this big I wanted to be sure I was making the right one.

I called AMP and their staff was friendly and informative. I talked to the Sales Manager and also the Service Technician to go over the product thoroughly. I could tell the company took a lot of time when creating this unit to make sure it's performance would be the best it could. Adding to it the Kohler Command PRO 14 HP engine is the best engine I have ever ran on the equipment I purchase for my construction company.

I went ahead and decided to make the purchase after feeling comfortable with the staff. They have been the first equipment company to have a live person answer the phone as soon as you call. They even remembered my name by the 3rd call-in.

I have owned the unit now for 6 months and the performance is wonderful. I do not usually write reviews about my purchases, but I felt the need to let people know about this small company that is actually there to help their customers.

The unit now has close to 500 hours on it and the maintenance schedules on ampgenerators.com makes sure to inform you on when to change the engine and air compressor oil regularly. If you are in the market for a generator, compressor or welder I would highly recommend the AMP TRIPLEX.
