They are posing as players and asking you to pay money to upgrade your bases. Then the operator show up like Big Army to destroy your base. So you can build up again. For sure they can have 100 big tanks for free to destroy your. But you have to buy it. You dont play with the other players. You play with the game operators.

It is a very good game and i would love for the devs to read this, and i would love to play or see some of your footage

Alpha Wars, owned and ran by Studio Hoppe (German Company) also has Desert & Panzer Rush as well as a few Capture Planet... all browser based games that are about secure as a wet paper towel catching your priceless china plate. This game programming company is all about the Euro, ( exchange rates apply) yet do not enforce any kind of TOS (Terms Of Service) or thwart cheat codes used in browser application. No,, they dont, but are quick to post 'Do not share your password' by a ghostly orange font auto piloted admin. Yet people have 5 to 45 accounts to cheat the system, spamming the non big spenders out of their money. No complaints posted have been replied to concerning the cheats used, (remove fog of war) (instant resources, manipulation of tank/plane/heli/boat properties making it possible to be 'bullet proof). My suggestion? = Go play War Thunder,, secure server, not multi accounts,, can apply cheats etc. Nothing from the origins of 'STUDIO HOPPE' in the gaming community they produce is worth your effort or time,, let alone money. :)

Alpha wars is an online browser video game, in the battlefield category that is a very bad cheap simulation of the video game called Generals / Red Alert, and is the most horrible, sickening, cheap, worthless, slow, time consuming, ridiculous, expensive, greedy, money sucking scam that I have ever seen.
Oh, of course, in the beginning, they deliver that good old pitch, " Play for Free", and well, they all do don't they? The people that operate this horrible trash are no different than the people that produce online poker, porn sites, and sell counterfeit goods.
I could go on and on, but I would have to cover over 17 issues, and I think that I've said enough to get my point across, plain and simple. This online browser video game called alpha wars, is nothing but a pestilence to the world of online browser games.
Go a head, if you are interested, play for free, however, if you spend any of your money on alpha wars after reading this review, well, you were warned.

Have played this game for a couple of years and unless you spend... not worth it. So many things the developers could do to make game better but they are too greedy hence the game is dying with fewer and fewer players.

Don't mind spending some money but don't like being ripped off.

Looking for a new game to play so any recommendations would be great.

I've been a paying player for over a year. On AW4, my group invaded map 159 owned by AMG. There were 2 helo bases there. I took one. We were there for about 2 weeks. We killed troops and and took just a few bases and BAM. 16 helo bases and 4 air bases appeared overnight and who do you think too every one? AMG, a German alliance. Hmmmm. Hoppe Studios is also German. I suspect these top alliances that are German are Hoppe employees with back doors to cheat. That is my 2 bits.
