When I tried to use one of these filters on my refridgerator no water would pass through causing me to put the old Whirlpool filter back in place. I have Kenmore model number *******2801.

I ordered fridge water filters costing 1/3 of the OEM product, however, they are not physically identical and can get stuck in the filter housing if you are not careful, leading to expensive appliance repairs that end up costing much more than the expensive OEM filter.

Ordered different brand (cheaper) oem brand is way to much. Hope these work just as well? Ordered LG in the past but am not working know and need needed new filters for frid.

When I tried to checkout as guest, it threw an error that the email already existed, so I went back and tried to login. I did not know of a password, so I did forgot password, and your website told me that there was no account with my email. So I tried checkout as guest AGAIN, and it took everything. But no one wants to enter all of their info twice.

So if anyone needs a new water filter bypass plug with the rfid chip, GE will send you one for free. No need to order one here for $40.
