Here is Florida we have nasty well water sometimes. These filters gives us peace of mind.
Had a fun time with mine. Instructions call for turning off the water supply before changing filter. So I pulled fridge out and tried to turn off the installed shut off valve and it started to leak, the more I tried turning it in either direction the more it leaked. So I turned the water supply for the whole house went to Lowe's to get a replacement shutoff valve. Returned home, replaced valve, turned on main water supply and leak checked good. The old valve was probably the original one so not surprised that it failed but overall I chuckled about it... 2 minutes to swap the filter but 3hours to complete the overall project...;oD.

Always great products! The air filter size I have is an odd size so I'm very satisfied.
The filter should be shipped in a box not an envelope. My filter case was damaged and opened a little. The filter looked a little dirty and I had to rinse it off so I could use it. The envelope was not torn. The filter looked like it hen been returned to your store not fresh off the shelf. I needed it so I had to use it. I am not satisfied with All Filters.
