Definitely not a reputable company. I've been trying to cancel this account for over five months and they keep on charging me $30 a month. Do not get a membership with them or you will never be able to cancel!
Anytime my child clicks on the math tab a pop-up for a video is the only option to click on. A lengthy "Super Skills" video is mandatory to watch in order to proceed to the math lesson. To top it off, it appears to be the same video. Nothing about different skills. This is pointless and very annoying. It only causes children to lose interest and wastes time. If you only have 15-20 minutes at that time, you've wasted most of it on the video. Waste of money!
I saw an ad for it, and it had some VERY bad animation. There was another ad
That I felt was also innapropriate. It shown classdojo ripoffs doing something on their phone (I don't remember what), then the teacher tells them instead of doing that probably perfectly fine thing (keep with me, it still has animation as bad as protegent ads) to instead do this scam site called adaptive minds math (with a VERY bad accent). I then looked it up and found out it was a complete scam and it's basically like the mr. Krabs of math websites, I DO NOT recommend this site at all to your kids!
I was shocked when I checked my bank, it deducted my money every months without and notice! And it charged us $64-$66 per month! Not $9.95, speechless
We are so. So disappointed. It started really well and we liked the fact that we had to wait til the next time to unlock the next level. It meant my son knew we would do just the right amount every time. We liked the rewards too. They were times where things were a bit repetitive and very bizarrely organised (doing fractions for 10 questions and moving to measurements the following 10 questions) but overall, we were positive about Adapted Mind. However, after around 3 months of regular sessions, we were not able to move from lesson 36 to lesson 37. Instead, we could only click on 'Fishing game' which meant doing random questions for unlimited time. So, a warning to you all: if you are doing 4th grade Maths, you lessons stop at level 36.
I contacted customer service and it took a few emails to truly understand that I was paying for a programme that was not finished...
In a nutshell, I would avoid!
Hey guys welcome back to my channel and go he's going to try and hit that notification Bell they gave me an they gave me an awesome
Prodigy is more better because in prodigy you can play free but in adapted mind you have to pay plus there is a lot of things in prodigy! Yes you do have to pay IF YOU WANT to be a member but they still let you pay free even if you ARE NOT A MEMBER and adapted mind in that one you have to pay before you pay!
I love adapted mind because it helps you learn a lot and it feels like you are talking to them! Also, it has different subjects, like regular school. You also can get new clothes for your monster! Finally, you get pets, I already have 12! It is only $10 a month! Go sign up now and maybe, just maybe you can get a free trial! Have a great day and keep learning!
It is trash. I lost $100 and it was a scam. This website is terrible. I do not reccomend this website.
And why is adaptedMind the best video game for teachers around the world?! It should be among us! Not this garbage! This app should get sued for making roblox gamers like this piece of crap game that is for the K-8 graders! I hope the App gets sued ASAP!
My response to the developer:
The service is not so great. Also, not a fan of the fact that it's an in-browser application. Using it on an iPad. I have to tap a text field to call the systems on-screen keyboard, switch to the numeric keypad, all just to enter an answer. Then there's the YouTube video learning... gtfoh with that bullsh*t. I definitely got the feeling that this service was going to be crap when you started upselling me with every learning subject. $10/month for a full package, I could possibly tolerate. But per subject fees? Nah I'm smarter than that. Good luck ripping-off other parents though.
PS. More proof that they are a garbage service. When you try to cancel, they offer you a $50 Amazon gift card if you enter you phone number to have a 15min call. NEVER DO THIS BECAUSE YOU OPEN YOURSELF UP TO SPAM CALLS!
For parents looking for a definitely not worse alternative, try Kahn Academy Kids app. It's free. And depending on what you're looking, it could either be just OKAY or a perfect fir for your kid. For our 4-5yr old, it's pretty decent at keeping him occupied while also teaching him a few things. I personally school my kid, but I use the apps for when he doesn't want to play with his toys and can't watch TV.
Stay away. This company will try to make fraudulent charges to your credit card after you sign up for a "free trial." They make it very difficult to cancel and try to spam you with several different subjects to sign up for. Each subject is an additional cost, and you could end up paying $9.99 for each subject (math, reading, etc.) They tried to charge my card right after I signed up for the free trial. Read the reviews: this business currently has an "F" on BBB, and other sites have people who have shared their frustrating experiences with this company. They will spam you with ads on nearly every YouTube clip you watch with your child (I reported their ads), yet they will make it very hard if not impossible to cancel their services once they have your credit card number. My son didn't even like their program. He tried it for 5 minutes and was bored. Some reviewers have even mentioned that there is pornographic material on their program (monsters having sex), which makes this all the more disgusting that they are preying on children in this way. I can't say it enough: stay away!
Some ways to fight back:
-Report their ads to Google (click on the "i" button, and "Report ad") as well as turn off personalization of ads
-If their ad plays on a YouTube clip, contact the owner of the clip and tell them to tell YouTube not to allow their ad on their content (give your reasons why)
-Report them on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc), review them there too.
-Submit reviews on sites like this and and spread the word to as many people as possible. The more people write about their experiences, the more people will stay away from this awful program.
-If you are receiving recurring charges, contact your bank and tell them to block payments. Explain to your bank what is going on.
Adaptedmind is good for learning math and other subject it turns everything into an adventure anybody can

I love this game so much I already love math so much but adaptive math makes it so much better i injoy it more because of how fun it is so thank you for this wonderful app.
We've just signed up for a free trial and my boys are really enjoying it. My older son got up early today to do his next level that was unlocked. He keeps telling me all the new things he learned in social studies and science. He said that the math subject is challenging enough to keep him interested. I'm heavily pregnant and lack of energy at the moment. So this type of activity is great for me too because kids keep themselves busy and I have no guilt of them spending time in front of a screen. I've also did a bit of research today because I'm considering to commit to 3-4 classes for my kids and saw some negative review about the company. Knowing that reviews can be unfair sometimes I contacted their customer service to address my concern. The customer service responded pretty much straight away with a very professional email.
We have accessed this from the UK, I ended it after the free trial as there were far too many US currency questions which do not make any sense to my child (nor me to be honest). However, we gave it another try as my son really enjoyed the format and kept asking me to let him play. He is autistic and doesn't enjoy school or learning in the usual manner so I subscribed to the Maths again.
The only way I have found to override the currency is to manually select the lessons - but if it keeps him occupied for a bit whilst he isn't in school I'm willing to do this.
This adapted mind game is stupid the questions are dumb this game is for stupid kids and it is a scam
