I sought help from the ACLU regarding my rights inside a nursing home being violated. Not only was the lawyer that I spoke to extremely rude, they care nothing about pursuing justice for the rights of the handicapped, disabled or elderly population.

The ACLU is only interested in cases in which there is a black victim and white perpetrator. They do not seem to see discrimination in any other form. They are so far removed from their original purpose that they really should be classified as an activist organization for black people.

Amidst supporting Amber Heard; the woman who didn't provide the $3.5million donation to them while she had Johnny depps divorce settlement for 13 months. The woman who states she "pledged" the money, after stating on national television it was donated for publicity. The woman who just LOST her defamation case, and was proven to be a domestic abuser, and Johnny Depp be the victim.

They have now turned around and are trying to sue Johnny depp for $86k.

Make an effort to avoid this charity that sues domestic abuse victims. And protects abusers. Find one with integrity.

I requested assistance on a civil rights issue involving the Bill of Rights. I was RUDELY informed that the ACLU only aids on certain issues and do not give any assistance for liberties they don't believe in.

I have the greatest admiration for aclu.org. The website uses strident fact checkers and always publishes factual, substantive information. Every article that I've read is well-sourced, informative and very interesting. This site has some of the best authors I've read anywhere online. The ACLU gives the voiceless voices. Its work is important. Its website is cool and easy to navigate. This website deserves all 5 of the stars that it got.
