We ordered a brick driveway, removal of bushes on two sides of the house, and the installation of the vinyl 6' fence and 4' aluminum decorative fence. The contractor got two non-English speaking men who didn't place the black material under the pavers, and now we have grass growing between the bricks. The men bulldozed all bushes not just on the two sides but also at the front, ripped out all irrigation systems, and installed the fence against permits of the city of Winter Park, fL. The part of the vinyl fence should be 3', not 6', and an aluminum fence must be 3', not 4'. We wanted the contractor to cut his 6' wall to 3' and his aluminum fence from 4' to 3'; however, the contractor is MIA. We have been trying to contact him for two years by phone and e-mail and got no answer. Perhaps we should report him to the licensing board.
