I did not realize that this was auto renewed through paypal. When i noticed the charge for a site that we have not used in over 2 years, i immediately contacted abcmouse... or at least tried. You cannot speak to anyone, only email. They did not offer a refund, instead told me that I should have known. It was an hones mistake and things like that should be resolved or at least let me speak to someone.

Avoid ABCmouse.com

I enrolled in ABC Mouse for my grandson.
1. The content never changes. He was bored after a few months. Im not going to force him to do it. If its not engaging they wont use it. Its not engaging.
2. The upcharges. You are automatically enrolled in assessments in addition to basic subscription charges. I have asked to cancel that. I was not. I was charged over $85 this year even though I only authorized $39.95.
3. The complication of canceling your account. Holy crap. You have to put your password in no less than 4 times to do this. Then they ask you an additional 4 times are you sure you want to cancel. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. There are tons of free apps out there. And good old fashioned teaching your kid yourself using the millions of free websites for this as well. Save your money. Im out about $160 and my grandkid stopped using it months ago.

Was signing up for a FREE 30 day Trial membership & it billed by $59.99 on the 1st day! I was trying to complete a offer for a Free gift card & this is a complete waste! I BETTER get my refund! It's a good thing I used Paypal!

I have been charged 4 times $7.95 through Amazon pay and ABCMouse.com. I got confirmation from previous ticket that my membership is cancelled, but I am still getting charged. Cheaters... There is no way to remove your card details even if we want to. Cheaters keep charging the card.

They never stop billing!

I don't even know how I got signed up for this. When I reach out to cancel my service no one calls or emails you back. I've been on hold for over 42 minutes... this is a scam and must be illegal. I foresee a class action lawsuit against ABCMouse.com.
Spare yourself the hassle and pick another option for your child's learning.

Take video/screenshots of every step you take while signing up.

I had heard very good things about this program from educational preparedness. My nephew is 18 months old so I am constantly looking for apps, games, cards, puzzles, etc. to enhance his skills. ( I knew he was a genesis the day he was born :) )

I was so excited, I signed up for the 1st month free and $7.95 per month after that with the option to cancel at anytime within the 1st month without being charged. I downloaded the app 3 days ago. When I just some happened to check my balance of my checking account it was negative 250$... now its over 300$. The FIRST day they took multiple amounts of money, each amount was different. I was then charges $35 each time they took money out.

I really will I saw this before I signed up, I always heard how great it is. I will go the better business bureau, news, nosey neighbor, anyone to get the world out so working moms and dads don't get scammed and loving hard working Aunts (ME) don't get screwed.

Hope it helped. I want to get this fixed for real because I love early education but for now the Library it is!

Since I didn't realize the 1st day, I already had bills coming out... needless to say ABC MOUSE is scum and has over drafted my amount by hundreds.
When I tried to: reach: out and right a message, I got the reply that 'they were sorry for my banking issues and I signed up for the 12 month subscription' TOTAL LIE. They sent me a screen shot of "what I did" but the best part is, I didn't get that far because I wasn't sure what to do until I knew if my nephew would like it / benefit from it.

Free trial scam
October 10, 2017

I tried to sign up for the free trial, with 7.95 monthly after. They Charged me 59.95 before I even completed registration. Totally unethical business practice. After an hour of emailing back and forth, I contacted PayPal and they reversed the charges. Don't do business with scam artists.

Why did ABC Mouse change their layout? It was so easy. Now you have to have a workshop just to put in lessons for your kids because it's too hard to figure out unless you work for ABC Mouse. But I've called them too and they had a hard time walking me through the first lesson. I have spent HOURS and HOURS trying to figure out your new updated version of ABC Mouse. It was SO easy for the teacher if they were working on a certain letter, number, or sight word to just simply click and drag to your lessons. It would put everything for that letter, number,... with it - no wasting time searching for each thing that begins with the letter or number you are working on. It was SO simple. Now I am totally confused. My kids use to LOVE ABCMouse. Now, it takes too long to create lessons. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION! I know it's free to teachers (as they have reminded me) but I'm definitely not going to recommend this version to parents if I can not create the lesson successfully! Please change it back to simply! A teacher's job is tough enough,. We don't have time for this!

Fraudulent Charge

I never visited abcmouse.com or even knew they exist. I had a charge of $7.95 to my card, emailed in a request for customer support, they called me back on a Sunday night and gave me an 800# that you can not get thru on. Disputed the charge on my card.

Fraud, Scam,

I too signed up for a free trial and tried cancelling before the expired date, but have been charged 19.75 for the past two months. Same story unable to reach them via phone or email.

I want my money refunded and the billing to stop, I am very happy I googled this to find so many people with the same story and that I can reach out to my bank to put a stop to it.

The worst!

Unable to get a hold of customer service, the phone number listed belongs to somebody else that had to file a disclaimer that the number isn't associated with them at all! This is the crappiest kids' app I have ever ever run into! The continued charge has to be stopped thru the card services! I don't have a way to cancel the account thru ABC mouse.com.

How do you get them to stop taking money from your account that you never gave to them?!?!? It tells me to log in to cancel and then they want me to register to get to the cancellation process. The site tells me to go to several different places to cancel but I can't find it. Apparently im not the only one. Ive called amd the nember doesnt accept calls. Do I go to my bank?

Turning this site in for fraud!~ not sure how you subscribed me, but i dont have any children and i wouldn't subscribe! Cant reach anyone at this phone number! Tells me to login to cancel. Dont have a login, didnt sign up for it!
I contacted my banks fraud unit.

I can not get a response to get a refund. I have been calling sending emails with no response. I subscribed to this membership a few years ago then cancelled it, my daughter was able to resubscribe us yesterday because my credit card info is still in their system. I thought they had deleted it but much to my disappointment it is still there. So now I am trying to get a refund as I discovered this the same day she did it and I am trying to get my credit card info deleted to prevent this from happening again. So far I have not been successful do either because they will not respond to messages. Warning to all parents this could happen to you. Their customer service is very bad. Should they respond and do the right thing then my opinion could possibly change but as for right now I don't advice anyone to join this club.
