on 8/9/15You get a chance to earn 40 coins each day. You are not being charged for them. With these coins if I remember correctly, you can "buy" a chance to talk to one of the guys you want to talk to. You can also purchase with money extra coins. Funny thing is, they use profiles of people that are no longer active. Well I know of one that they used and he lives in my immediate area. He told me that his account was not active, yet he was on Carousel.
No. Don't worry Connie. U are not being charged for other than what U have paid already. It is up to U to buy packages of coins ONLY if U want to boost your profile and picture to the FRONT of everyone else and if U wish to buy those GIFTS for your interested one. Me, personally, I prefer that if I was to buy my interested person a gift, I'd wait for the actual DATE, then buy a REAL GIFT for them so they could wear it, gaze at it, or snack on it in real life!
I agree. That's why I'm not on Zoosk anymore. I never bought coins and I was never charged for any. I think that whole coin system and popularity rating system makes the whole experience feel pretty superficial.
In order to boost your profile you must earn or buy coins. You can earn 40 per day by saying you want to meet people. My suggestion is you quit this site because you will never meet anyone worthwhile.
This is not a difficult question to answer. I was on Zoosk for about 3 months and met a lady that I'm going to spend the rest of my life with, however long that is. What I did was totally ignored the coins and talked to the people I wanted to. No problem for me.
I don't understand about coins either, but what it looks like is this…after they get you to pay for a subscription, they encourage you to pay more to "make sure" your message to someone was delivered, or opened or some jive. They get you to pay for a service and then try to charge you for more. And it's hitting below the belt…taking advantage of people when they are often emotionally vulnerable--that is, going through the rigors of trying to meet someone. It convinced me that the business ethics of whoever manages Zoosk are tacky and ethically bankrupt.
Don't waste any time or money on this site, it is just a ploy to get your dough.
Couldn't have put it any better than R. H. did.
Drop the place... It's just a scam & a joke...
Dump it and run... And fast...
I had the same issues Connie. So after I signed up, I called my bank and told them to get my authorization before accepting any purchases.
