on 11/4/15Yep, you gotta pay for the subscription!
Pay for it is only way.
I paid for the subscription and still no responses. I have gotten 4 chat requests from the same guy and I am just chatting to myself. I have not seen anything that allows me to actually accept a chat. Less than 24 hours and I an already about to scream at them
Zoosk is a ripoff. I paid and I still can't chat with all of these someone wants to chat messages. It's a con and should be illegal.
All it means is that they are online at the same time as you are, and that they sent you a message. Chat is the same as messaging.
No I can't give an answer, but I have the same question. I have paid. Someone wants to chat and I know it is a real person.
So instead of just having people whinging about having to pay, (Most comments are negative and tell me nothing), can somebody please give me the process for a basic paid up person - starting with:
"Judy wants to chat with you." -------------------.
Eg does it mean they cannot answer unless they have also paid.
Pay and keep paying is zoosks motto m8 bloody expensive site for very little rewards! Don't bother
Yeah and it's about $30 per month or $60 for 3 months subscription but I wouldn't bother because it's all bad news for the guys on there too. Lots of girls looking for free meals lol lots of people who just play games or only want to chat because they're lonely but never actually want to meet in the real world. Lots of inactive accounts and apparently robots and fake profiles. There's a limit to the amount of messages you can respond to every day even as a paying member they can block you from communicating with other members for 24hrs if you reply to too many people in a day. Pretty +#@# if you ask me.
You have to pay for your subscription in order to chat with other members.
Pay the $$$ nothing is free or real when it comes to Zoosk.
You must pay for the subscription in order to be able to have an actual conversation. I think the people saying they're throwing their money away are just bitter. I had just as much luck on Zoosk as I did on other paid sites.
Just take a handful of cash, walk to an open window and throw it. Same results.
It DOES NOT mean they've sent you a message. From my experience, it means they've viewed you recently (possibly) or previously have viewed you and they are currently on the site (at the time the icon popped up). That's all; it doesn't mean they actually sent you a message, or clicked some button indicating they actually want, or are ready to, chat at that instant.
As others have pointed out, you have to pay to send messages.
There is a message limit, but I can't find it described/specified anywhere, but it's not many, something like 3-5 a day. Once you've hit your limit you can keep typing messages and hitting send, but they just disappear (undelivered) with no warning. If you attempt a like/heart/etc after the limit it does warn you about that.
There are certainly some real people there amongst the dead / fake profiles. Zoosk is probably no better or worse than most other real sites in that regard. The constant upsell is annoying though (Message receipts $ - Profile boost $ - Set visibility $ - Extra conversation$ - etc)
Not many people are posting here with Zoosk success but I've done pretty well and I know of others.
I've had quite a few dates with nice men. Two of them were relationships of over 2 years, and one of those led to engagement but not marriage. Zoosk has some little iffy policies but overall I think it works if you put some effort into it. The social rules and communication are a little different from "real" life so that takes adapting.
There's someone there for you... don't stop believing!
A out Zoosk? First of all this site is a rip off 99% of the girls on here don't exist! And they keep charging every month! Quit now and charge your credit card number fast! I switch to plenty of fish best dating site ever met my current girfriend there! So it really works plus they have local group gatherings to help you meet people!
That reply was auto generated. U have to subscribe to the that all of the communications are all auto response
